Rabbi Yitzhak Zelig-Morgenstern of Sokolov taught,

No good or friendly act ever goes to waste.

It roots love in the heart.

Love,

In turn,

Creates a connection.

Rest your eyes,

Relaxing body and breath.

Picture a good or friendly act done by you or toward you this past week.

Imagine the act itself rooting in the hearts of both the doer of the act and the receiver of the act.

Imagine a thread connecting the hearts of the one who did the act of friendship and the one who received it.

Connecting the two infinitely through time and space.

Imagine then the multiplicity of threads connecting these two to others and so on,

Creating a vast network of interconnected kindness and goodness throughout time and space.

Each time you engage in a kindness,

Know that you are adding a thread to this web.
