Transcript

Rabbi Gershon Tanchum taught that the quality of limitation,

Of humility,

Can be attained through careful investigation.

Ma'ayan mitahir,

Those who investigate their deeds are purified.

Let the cool and pure waters of the spring purify us and teach us the quality of humility.

Rest your eyes,

Relaxing body and breath.

Breathing in,

I am dust and ashes.

Breathing out,

This world was created for me.

Breathing in,

No more than my space.

Breathing out,

No less than my place.

Breathing in,

Letting go of ego.

Breathing out,

Sitting in thoughtful and dignified humility.
