This poetic affirmation and guided breathing meditation is a love offering from my heart to yours. Each affirmation has served and continues to serve me in my own SoulCare journey. May this practice meet you where you are today, speak to your heart, and guide you back home to your Self every time you return to it. You are the medicine. Welcome,

Dear one.

Thank you for listening to your inner guidance and choosing to do this practice.

This is Oari Nyong'o,

And I am honored to be your guide and partner on this SoulCare journey.

From my heart to yours,

I offer these I AM affirmations,

And trust that you will receive exactly what you need.

There is no need to try and repeat or remember these affirmations.

This practice is an opportunity for you to let go of some of the mental chatter,

Release control,

Drop into your heart,

And notice the sensations that arise as you surrender,

Allow,

And trust your process.

The most powerful healing and transformation often happens at a somatic and soul level.

Repeat this practice daily,

And you will begin to embody the affirmations and experience the fruits of your inner journey.

As we prepare to begin,

I invite you to sit or lay down in a comfortable position.

You may also choose to do this practice while engaging in other activities.

Your subconscious mind is listening and will absorb the affirmations,

Whether or not you are actively paying attention to the words.

Let us begin by taking a few deep cleansing breaths together.

Breathing in,

Belly expands.

Breathing out,

Navel moves towards the spine,

Emptying out completely.

Inhaling through the nose,

And sighing as you exhale through the mouth.

Breathing in life force energy,

And exhaling to release that which no longer serves you.

Breathing in deep,

And breathing out long.

Moving at your own pace,

Take three more rounds of breath,

Softening and releasing with each exhalation.

Letting go,

Letting it all go.

Continue to breathe in whatever way feels most nurturing to you,

As you open your heart to receive these words.

After the affirmations,

You will have the opportunity to observe one minute of silent meditation,

Notice what there is to notice,

And take a moment to listen to your soul's whispers.

I will ring a bell to signal the beginning and end of our silent meditation practice,

But feel free to remain in silence for as long as you like.

You may even want to do some soul writing and jot down any divine guidance you are receiving.

I have never been so moved by a meditation before. Having been raised in Kenya as a TCK, it really resonated with me on a lot of levels.
