Welcome to this golden light meditation for headache relief.
I'm Dr.
Kim your
guide through this journey towards tranquility.
Before we begin I invite you
to lie down flat on your bed without a pillow.
If necessary you may use a thin
pillow.
Allow your body to sink into the surface beneath you.
As we embark on this
journey I encourage you to let go of the outside world for the next 10 minutes.
Give yourself permission to be fully immersed in this moment dedicating this
time to your well-being.
Close your eyes gently and take a deep slow breath in
through your nose feeling your belly rise.
Exhale slowly through your nose letting go of any tension you may be holding.
With
each breath feel yourself sinking deeper into a state of relaxation.
Now imagine a
warm golden light above your head.
This light is pure,
Healing and feels warm.
With
each inhale visualize this golden light beginning to pour slowly across your
head.
Feel its warmth on your scalp as it radiates over your skull.
As this light
touches you it begins to dissolve any tension within your head.
Feel it moving
over your forehead releasing the tightness across your brow.
Allow this
golden light to flow over your temples soothing and relaxing easing any tension.
Notice how it feels like warm sunlight comforting and healing.
With each breath
it flows deeper into the muscles of your face reaching deep areas of tension.
Your head feels lighter and lighter.
Your headache begins to dissolve under this
golden glow.
Imagine this light radiating through your entire body now
from the top of your head down to your toes.
With each passage pain stress and
discomfort melt away.
You feel a sense of peace,
Relief and deep relaxation.
Stay
with this feeling for a few moments.
Breathe in the healing golden light and
breathe out the pain.
You are surrounded and filled with this nurturing light
healing you from within.
As our meditation comes to a close gently bring
your awareness back to the room.
Wiggle your fingers and toes feeling the bed
beneath you.
When you're ready slowly open your eyes bringing this sense of
calm and relief with you.
Remember this golden light is always within reach
ready to soothe and heal whenever you need it.
