Take a moment to drop into your meditation,
Closing your eyes if it feels safe to do so.
Take three deep cleansing breaths to center your energy.
Full breath in and full breath out.
Notice the sensation of your breath,
Slowly moving in and out through your nose.
And as you breathe,
Know that relaxation is normal and your body will naturally start to relax on its own.
Together,
Let us set an intention to feel the most relaxed we have felt all day.
Each breath you take invites more relaxing energy.
And when thoughts arise,
Just let them be.
Let your thoughts come and go,
There's nothing to do with them in this moment.
Begin to notice your physical body,
Focusing first on your right hand.
Slowly press your thumb into each one of your fingertips,
Making a fist with your hand.
Relax your fingers,
Relax your hand.
Now noticing your left hand,
Press your thumb very slowly into each one of your fingertips,
Creating a ball with this hand.
Relax your fingers,
Relax your hand.
Now let us focus our attention on receiving an intention.
You will do this by asking yourself three questions.
This isn't a test,
You don't have to try hard or prepare in any way.
Just allow your body to stay soft and relaxed.
And if at any time you notice tension or that you're holding your breath,
Simply reset with a cleansing breath.
Let's start by asking yourself,
Physically,
For the benefit of my health and well-being,
In one word,
What do I need?
And notice what comes up for you here.
Emotionally,
For the benefit of my heart,
In one word,
What do I need?
Notice what comes up for you here.
And spiritually,
For the benefit of my soul,
In what word,
What do I need?
Notice what comes up for you here.
Now imagine each of these words as a single seed.
A seed that you can hold in your hand.
The seed of intention,
Noticing it as it rests in the palm of your right hand.
Place your right hand on the center of your chest,
Planting the seed of intention in your heart space.
Feel the warmth in the center of your chest and let this energy simmer throughout your body.
Begin to breathe deeply into your chest,
Filling up your lungs and exhaling fully.
Relaxing your hands down into your lap.
Notice your connection to the ground.
Notice the air moving around you.
Closing this meditation with a moment of gratitude for yourself.
Blessed Be.
