Finding a comfortable seat.
Relaxing into your body the best that you can in this moment.
Let us take a deep breath in through our nose.
Making this the deepest breath you've taken all day.
Holding your breath for one moment and then open your mouth and sigh out the breath.
Gently closing your lips.
Return to a natural breath as we take this moment to check in.
How are you doing?
We'll start with our physical body.
Doing a body scan from the crown of our head all the way down to our toes.
When we notice a sensation,
Whether it be a tightness or tension,
Just label it sensation.
Not good,
Not bad.
Continue this scan down your body.
And as you get to those parts of the body that feel sensation,
Sending a breath to that area.
Imagining that this breath is healing and warm.
And now let us check in with how we're feeling mentally.
Whether there's very obvious emotions or feelings that pop up.
Let's not label them good or bad.
Let's just label them feelings.
And now let's check in with how we're feeling emotionally.
Being curious of what pops up.
We'll not label them good or bad.
But just stay open.
And then we'll take another deep breath in through our nose.
And when you're ready,
Open your mouth and sigh the breath all the way out,
Trying to empty the lungs of this air.
Gently seal your lips and return to your natural breath.
Every day there are feelings and experiences that show up in our bodies.
We need to give ourselves time to connect with ourselves,
To be in our own body,
And learn what makes us work.
Now let us use our breath to help us to cleanse,
Remove stress and worry,
Or just use it as a reset.
Inhale through your nose for five seconds.
And we will hold our breath for five seconds.
Hold your breath for three seconds.
And exhale through your mouth for five seconds.
Repeat this breath as many times as you'd like to.
Allowing your nervous system to reset.
Calming the body and the mind.
Bring your awareness to the sounds of the room.
Bring your awareness to the room.
Bring your awareness to you meditating within the room.
Bring your palms together at heart center.
Gently bow your head towards your heart.
Take a moment of gratitude for your body,
Your breath,
And the gift of this meditation.
Blessed Be.
