Good morning and welcome to a brand new day,
To new beginnings filled with unlimited opportunities to love,

Before welcoming in your external world,
Take this precious time to firstly go within.
So wherever you are right now,
Feel the support beneath your body.
Notice where you are being held and allow yourself to be fully held here for a moment longer.
Start this brand new day by arriving here into your own physical being.
Checking in with yourself,
Asking yourself how do I feel this morning in my physical body.
Allowing yourself to feel the feedback and the sensations without any resistance or judgement,
Simply feeling and experiencing.
As you become more aware of your physical being,
Turning your focus even further inward now towards your breath.
Invite your breath to flow effortlessly in and out,
Feeling that gentle rise and fall of the tani in the chest as you breathe in and breathe out.
And when you are ready,
Start to make your way towards a more conscious,
More yogic breath.
Getting ready to invite your next breath in as your deepest,
Most energising,
Most cleansing breath in through the nose.
Inhale and full release out through the mouth.
Emptying your lungs of any stale,
Stagnant breath from your night of sleep.
Let's get ready to do this again.
Full nourishing,
Energising in breath,
Breathing in.
Full release out through the mouth,
Emptying those lungs.
Take a few more like this at your own rate.
Full nourishing in breath and releasing out breath.
Start to find your own rhythm,
Breathing in to light up inside to energise every cell and awaken within you.
Breathing out to release anything that might not be serving you today,
Ready to replenish on that fresh,
Renewing inhalation.
Keep going at your own pace,
Noticing this therapeutic,
Ocean-like sound to your breath.
This opportunity to renew to breathe in these new beginnings.
Keeping this depth and integrity to your breath,
Starting to now breathe in and out through the nose at a slow and steady pace.
As you continue with your breath,
Continuing your day now as you mean to go on with a moment of gratitude.
Start by practising gratitude for yourself,
For your lungs,
For waking up this morning,
For your own aliveness,
For your physical body,
For your mind,
For your heart and your soul,
For the unlimited amount of love that you can give and receive today.
And acknowledging one more thing here that you are grateful for this morning.
It can be a really simple thing,
Moment,
Or it can be a person that is close to you.
Whatever it is,
Really feel the gratitude and hold on to this feeling,
Collecting many more moments of gratitude as your day develops.
Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
And now setting your intention for today.
How would you like to show up in the world today?

Re-align with your values here.
What would you like to achieve today?
Don't worry if nothing comes to mind.
In this case,
I suggest an intention to practice self-love today,
Which you are already doing just by being here in your morning meditation.
Come back to your breath,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
As you continue here with your breath,
I invite you to repeat the following affirmations to yourself.

I will make healthy choices for my body,
Mind and soul.
Today,
I will show compassion and love to you.
Today,
I will show compassion over judgment towards myself and others.

I will choose to feel,
Think and act for a place of love rather than fear.
