Hi,

Welcome to your meditative reflective practice.

Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise or hardship.

It means to be in the midst of those things and still find calm,

Patience and love within your heart.

So we'll take a few moments to drop into our breath.

Come to that still place in our heart so we can cultivate more patience,

Calm and love.

Begin by settling into wherever you are,

Whatever shape you're holding,

Whether you're sitting,

Standing,

Seated or lying down.

Take a deep breath in and on the exhale settle.

Take another slow deep inhale in,

Settling the body,

Calming the mind.

If it's helpful for you,

You can close your eyes or find a soft gaze.

Begin to watch the breath as it unfolds.

Exhale and folding into the exhale.

Keeping your awareness around your heart space.

Exhale expands the heart space and the exhale draws you back to your center.

Begin by opening up and expanding around your heart as the breath expands out around the heart space and contracts back towards center.

In that space that you've created,

Where can you be more calm,

More patient and more loving?

What aspects of your life need a bit of tending to?

Expand with the inhale,

Contract back to center on the exhale.

We find peace by being patient,

Calm and loving in our hearts,

First towards ourselves and towards others.

You can stay here in your reflection.

Begin and continue to ponder the question of where in your life,

What aspects could use a little more calm,

Patience and love.

I hope this practice brought you benefit in some way with light and love,

Gratitude and grace.

Namaste.
