Hello and thank you for joining me today for this breathwork journey.
Today we're going to do a simple box breath to activate the parasympathetic nervous system,
Our rest and digest.
So let's begin by grounding and centering ourselves in our bodies.
Breathe in deeply through your nose,
Filling up your body with light and pulling in love and gratitude and exhale on a sigh.
Letting out all the air from your lungs,
Releasing what does not serve you.
Continue breathing slowly in and out through your nose while imagining this beautiful protective light surrounding your body.
Imagine the light expanding with every inhalation and with every exhalation.
Send out love back to the earth.
Now tune into the base of your spine,
Feel the space around your spine,
Feeling its buoyancy and then imagine roots growing from the base of your spine,
Connecting you to the earth.
Feeling the sensation of that connection,
Of that grounding and breathe into that feeling,
Allowing any excess energy and voltage that no longer serves you to go back to the earth,
To be transmuted into new life.
Breathe in deeply and slowly and on your next exhale,
Release to create space in your body to call in peace and even more deep presence.
For our box breath,
We're going to breathe in for a count of four,
Hold for a count of four,
Breathe out for a count of four and hold for a count of four.
