Hey there it's Marcella here and today I would like to guide you through some EFT tapping to clear the belief that you have to deprive yourself in order to lose weight.
So if this sounds like a belief that you're holding and especially if it has a lot of emotional charge with it and it's a belief you'd like to let go of let's do some tapping together.
Okay so first of all I want to invite you to just reflect on that belief.
I have to deprive myself in order to lose weight.
So how true does that feel to you on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the strongest?
Like 10 is it's absolutely true.
Okay then see if there's any emotion connected to that belief.
So it could be sadness,
Anger,
Shame,
Frustration,
Grief,
Whatever it might be for you.
And again check and see how strong that is on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the strongest.
Okay so once you've got that all dialed in just say as I say and do as I do and if my words don't resonate with you please feel free to use your own words because it's important that your subconscious resonates and aligns with these words.
And also before we begin just a reminder that EFT tapping is not a substitute for psychological counseling.

Okay so let's start.
So start by tapping on the outside of either hand with either hand.
So the fleshy outside part what we call the karate chop point.
So just go ahead and tap that and repeat after me and again using your own words when when needed.
Okay so even though I believe I have to deprive myself in order to lose weight.
Go ahead and say that.
I deeply love and completely accept myself.
Even though I absolutely believe I have to deprive myself in order to lose weight.
I deeply love and honor myself.
Even though I really really believe I have to deprive myself in order to lose weight.
And that's just how it is.
And some part of me insists on believing this.
Great.
I send love to all these parts of me.
Good.
Okay.
And I choose to love and honor myself as best I can today.
Okay perfect.
Now let's tap around the points.
So starting on the top of the head.
Oh I absolutely have to deprive myself in order to lose weight.
Inside the eyebrow where right where the eyebrow meets the bridge of the nose.
Okay.
I have to deprive myself in order to lose weight.
Good.
Now tapping on the side of the eye like the temple of the eye basically.
I feel so bad and wrong that I am overweight.
Tapping right under the eye that I have to deprive myself.
Good.
Tapping under the nose.
I've struggled so much to lose this weight.
Tapping under the mouth.
And it's just been one failure after another.
Okay.
Now we're going to tap on the collarbone point just to the side of the notch in your collarbone.
Either side is fine.
I must be bad for being overweight.
Okay.
Now tapping under the arm what I call the bra strap point.
Just slapping your bra strap.
And being overweight is wrong.
Okay.
Top of the head.
So therefore I have to punish myself.
Mm-hmm.
Good.
Okay.
Inside the eyebrow.
Losing weight cannot possibly be easy.
Side of the eye.
And I refuse to forgive myself for being overweight.
Under the eye.
And I insist on punishing myself.
Good.
Okay.
Under the nose.
Hmm.
I've been holding on to this story for a long time.
Yep.
Good.
Under the mouth.
I've been beating up my body for a long time.
Good.
Okay.
Collarbone.
I've been brutalizing my body all these years.
Okay.
Under the arm.
And it hasn't really gotten me the results I have wanted.
Perfect.
Okay.
Back up to the top of the head.
But I insist on doing it anyway.
Mm-hmm.
Good.
Inside the eyebrow.
For whatever reason some part of me keeps this whole drama going.
Okay.
Side of the eye.
But what if it's not true?
Under the eye.
What if I don't have to deprive myself in order to lose weight?
Good.
Under the nose.
What if in fact depriving myself only makes weight loss harder?
Mm-hmm.
Under the mouth.
What if I'm just throwing obstacles in my own way?
Yeah.
Good.
Okay.
Now let's go to the collarbone.
Take a little breath here.
Maybe in and out of the nose.
Mm-hmm.
Good.
Could it be possible that I could lose weight with ease?
Under the arm.
What if there's some reason all this body weight is here?
Good.
Top of the head.
And what if I could just extend love inside the eyebrow to this part of me that is carrying all this extra weight?
Side of the eye.
What if I could just love and forgive myself right where I'm at?
Under the eye.
And just say to myself and my body,
Under the nose,
I am so sorry.
Under the mouth.
This really has been hard.
Mm-hmm.
Collarbone.
And part of it is really hard.
Under the arm.
And another part of me has made it hard.
Good.
Okay.
Back up to the top of the head.
What if I could just partner with my body?
Inside the eyebrow.
Really seek to love and understand my body's innate wisdom.
Side of the eye.
Respect my body for the miracle that it is.
Under the eye.
Treat my body and my soul with great care.
Mm-hmm.
Good.
Under the nose.
Extend to myself the healing I desire and deserve.
Under the mouth.
And what if as a result of all of that?
Collarbone.
The pounds could melt away with ease.
Under the arm.
And my body could find its naturally comfortable size.
Good.
Top of the head.
Last round.
Oh,
I don't know if I can do that.
Okay.

Perfect.
Inside the eyebrow.
I've never done it before.
Excellent.

But I'm willing to try.
