Welcome to,
And so it is,
A guided meditation space that encourages moments of stillness,
Of ease,
And of returning home to ourselves.
My name is Anissa Ammon,
Your meditation guide and fellow student and fellow human being on this journey through love,
Joy,
Healing,
And life.
I am so honored to have you here with me today.
In today's meditation,
We will be focusing on the breath and setting a beautiful intention of rest for ourselves.
Let's begin.
Beginning by settling into the space that you're in,
Finding a position that encourages comfort and ease.
And before closing your eyes or softening your gaze,
Just take a soft and gentle inhale.
One,
Hold,
Letting in a little more air.
Two,
Hold.
And three,
Letting in a little more air,
Holding at the top and releasing your breath into a soft sigh,
Letting go.
And another delicate inhale.
One,
Hold,
Letting in a little more air.
Two,
Hold.
And three,
Holding at the top and feeling the soft vibrations of a gentle sigh coursing through your body,
Letting go.
Closing your eyes now or softening your gaze.
If there are any thoughts that are attempting to infiltrate this space of peace and calm that you are carving out for yourself,
For now allow them to simply be acknowledging their presence,
But not allowing yourself to spiral into a sea of interrogating or fixing.
Our minds have a tendency to want to keep us safe from harm from others and sometimes even from ourselves.
And when we are too tuned into our minds,
We begin to shut out the things we need the most and we begin to shut down.
So right now in this moment,
Let's override the mind and choose to fully be here in this sacred and holy space that we can find within ourselves by focusing on our breath and finding peace in the way the waves of breath ebb and flow throughout your being,
Never quite clashing together but moving and swaying in peaceful harmony.
One breath following another,
Naturally and with ease.

Having comfort in this soft and simple surrender of being still,
Of being present,
Of being at ease.
You are submitting to yourself in this moment.
You are whispering the deepest yes to yourself in this moment.
You are giving yourself the permission you deserve to be in this moment.
You are reminding yourself that here is where you belong.
Now repeating the following intention to yourself,
Setting the tone for your day or your evening.
My intention is to pause and to rest when my body,
Heart and soul call for it.

Opening your eyes now or releasing your gaze.
Holding on to this intention as you move through your day or settle into your night.
Holding on to the permission you have extended to yourself and the intention you have set for yourself.
To rest when you need,
To pause when you need,
To be still when you need,
To breathe deep when you need.
