In this short, playful bedtime meditation, we wiggle, shake, and sing our way into stillness. Through song, you'll be invited to wiggle your toes, bounce your knees, and shake your hands. Welcome to this bedtime stretch and sing along.

We are going to wiggle and sing our way into stillness.

So find a place where you have a little room around you to move.

You can be sitting,

Standing,

Or even lying down.

Let's begin by wiggling our toes.

Wiggle your toes up and down,

Spread them all around,

Curl them in,

Stretch them wide,

You've got it.

Yeah,

That's it.

One more time.

Wiggle your toes all around,

Curl and stretch your toes,

Move them up,

Up and down,

You've got it.

Yeah,

All right.

Now we're going to bounce your knees.

Bounce your knees up and down,

Bounce them all around,

Bend your knees,

Stretch them long,

You've got it.

Yeah,

That's it.

Okay,

One more time.

Bounce your knees up and down,

Bounce them all around,

Bounce your knees up and down,

You've got it.

Yeah,

And now your hands.

Shake your hands all around,

Shake them up and down,

Stretch your fingers nice and wide,

You've got it.

Yeah,

That's it.

One more time.

Shake your hands all around,

Give your hands a shake,

Stretch your fingers nice and wide,

You've got it.

Nice.

Now your arms.

Stretch your arms way out wide,

Stretch them side to side,

Stretch your arms way out wide,

You've got it.

And now up high.

Stretch your arms way up high,

Stretch them to the sky,

Reach your arms nice and high,

You've got it.

Yeah,

And now reach down.

Stretch your arms way down low,

Maybe touch your toes,

Reach your arms way down low,

You've got it.

Now,

How about a hug?

Hug your arms around your chest,

Give yourself a squeeze,

Give a hug nice and warm,

You've got it.

One more time.

Hug your arms around your chest,

Give yourself a squeeze,

Give a hug nice and warm,

You've got it.

Yeah,

Let's move your face.

Make your face bright and wide,

Open up your eyes and your mouth open wide,

You've got it.

And then the other way.

Scrunch your face in tight,

Scrunch your eyes and your nose,

Close your mouth,

Make it small,

You've got it.

Yeah,

That's it.

Let your face relax now.

And then we'll try wiggling your whole body.

Stretch your body way out wide,

Move from side to side,

Find a dance that feels good,

You've got it.

Move your body all around,

Stretch and wiggle now,

Wave your body up and down,

You've got it.

So good.

And now,

How about the opposite?

Now it's time to slow down,

Start to slow it down,

Find a spot you can rest and get cozy.

Find somewhere soft you can land,

Nice and warm if you can,

Slow it down,

Find your spot,

You've got it.

Feel yourself getting still,

Everything slows down,

Nice and soft,

Rest back,

You've got it.

So nice.

And now,

Close your eyes,

Snuggle in,

You've got it.
