Welcome.

This meditation is for moments when the mind is scanning for problems or waiting for something to go wrong.

For the next few minutes you're invited to rest in the simple truth of this moment,

Exactly as it is.

So begin by pausing whatever you're doing.

You don't need to prepare or change anything.

Notice that you're here.

Breathing is happening.

Awareness is present.

Now gently bring attention to what is actually wrong right now.

Not earlier,

Not later,

Just this moment.

You may notice thoughts about what could be wrong or what might become wrong and that's okay.

See if you can also notice that in this exact moment you're safe enough to be listening,

Breathing and aware.

So silently say to yourself,

Nothing is wrong right now and let those words land without forcing them to be true.

Notice the body's response.

A softening or a resistance or even neutrality all are allowed.

So feel the breath moving in and moving out.

And if the mind starts listing concerns,

Well thank it quietly.

It's doing its job.

And gently return to what is actually happening now.

Feel the temperature of the air,

The contact points of the body and the subtle movement of the breath.

This moment does not require improvement and doesn't need to be justified.

It doesn't even need to be explained.

So again gently,

Nothing is wrong right now.

You're not denying pain.

You're not even minimizing difficulty.

You're simply recognizing that this moment is survivable.

So rest here for a few breaths.

Let the nervous system register safety.

And when you're ready,

Widen awareness again.

Notice the space around you,

Sounds and the room.

And as you move on,

See if you can carry this with you.

The ability to check in and remember.

At least for this breath,

Nothing is wrong.

Good work today and namaste.
