
Sleep - Find Inspiration

This guided meditation session is utilized to assist one that is struggling with finding inspiration and is struggling to find sleep. Help yourself fall asleep and when you arise in the morning, be prepared to be inspired.
Transcript
Now,
If you will,
Close your eyes and begin to listen to all the sounds that you can hear in the room.
Just know that each time you hear any of these noises,
They will not distract you or deter you from your session today.
In fact,
Each time you hear one of those sounds,
It'll help you to go deeper and deeper into that peaceful calm that you've chosen to experience today.
Good.
Now in your imagination,
In your mind's eye,
I'd like you to find in your physical body a place that we call our center core.
It's a place where you feel that you can put all of your energy into.
Now it's different for everyone,
For some it's in their chest,
For others it's in their belly.
Wherever that is for you,
Please pull all of your energy into that place now.
Now,
Once again in your imagination,
Or your mind's eye,
I'd like you to drift out of your body and go and touch the wall in front of you.
And then drift back into your body,
Back into that center core,
Deep into that center core now.
And each time we do this,
And you come back in,
You can go deeper and deeper down.
So come out of your body again,
And go and touch the wall behind you.
And come back into your body now,
Deeper into that center core,
Deep in now.
And if you will,
Come out of your body and move to the wall on your right.
And then come back into your body,
That deep center core becoming a place that feels good to be in now.
Sinking deep into that center core.
Now please drift out of your body,
And go to the wall on your left.
And then come back in,
Deeper this time than you've been before.
Deep in,
Deep down to where it's beginning to feel familiar,
And very secure,
And very safe.
Now this time,
Come out of your body and check the chair beneath you,
The floor supporting you,
And come back into your body,
Deep into that deep center core.
Good.
And now see if you can float up out of your body,
And go all the way to the ceiling.
Way up now and float around up there,
On your stomach,
Or on your back,
Whatever is most comfortable for you.
Really feel the weightlessness,
And gently and slowly drift down like a bubble,
Or a butterfly,
Or a leaf floating gently,
And slowly back down into that wonderful warm,
Deep center core of your physical body.
Deep down now,
Snuggle deep into that center core,
Where you can rest.
Now gather up any little bits of energy you may have left anywhere in the room,
Anywhere else you may have been today,
Whether it was on the phone,
In your car,
In traffic,
Just bring them back into your center core,
Where they belong.
It's your energy,
It belongs to you,
And now rest,
Just for a moment.
I want you to imagine yourself now,
Standing in front of a blackboard.
You have a piece of chalk in one hand,
And an eraser in the other.
Good.
At the moment,
The blackboard is clear,
But what I would like you to do,
Is take the chalk,
And draw on the blackboard,
The number 10.
See the 1 and the 0,
The number 10.
Good.
Now when you can see the number 10,
And only when you can see the number 10,
I want you to take the eraser,
And rub it out.
Rub out the number 10,
So that the blackboard is clear once more.
And when the blackboard is clear once more,
I want you to take the piece of chalk,
And in the top right hand corner of the blackboard,
I would like you to write the word,
Sleep.
Sleep.
See the word sleep.
See the S and the L,
And the two E's and the P.
Sleep.
Notice the size of the word,
And the formation of the letters,
The position of the word sleep on the board,
And when you can see the word sleep,
And only when you can see the word sleep,
I want you to take the eraser,
And wipe it away.
Just wipe away the word sleep,
And as you erase the word sleep from your mind,
You find yourself becoming sleepier,
Much more comfortable,
And much more relaxed.
Now when the board is clear,
And only when the blackboard is clear,
I want you to take the chalk,
And draw the number 9.
The number 9 on the blackboard,
And when you can see the number 9,
And only when you can see the number 9.
I want you to take the eraser,
And rub it out.
Rub out the number 9,
So that the blackboard is clear once more.
And when the blackboard is clear,
I want you to take the piece of chalk,
And in the top right hand corner of the blackboard,
I would like you to write the word,
Sleep.
Sleep.
The word sleep.
See the S in the L,
And the two E's in the P.
Sleep.
Notice the size of the word,
And the formation of the letters.
The position of the word sleep on the board.
And when you can see the word sleep,
And only when you can see the word sleep,
I want you to take the eraser,
And wipe it away.
Just wipe away the word sleep.
And as you erase the word from your mind,
You find yourself becoming sleepier,
Much more comfortable,
And much more relaxed.
Now when the board is clear,
And only when the blackboard is clear,
I want you to take the chalk,
And draw the number 8.
The number 8 on the blackboard.
And when you can see the number 8,
And only when you can see the number 8,
I want you to take the eraser,
And rub it away.
Rub it away from your mind,
And you find yourself becoming sleepier,
Much more relaxed.
And continue in this manner,
First of all drawing the number 10,
Wiping it away,
And then when the board is clear,
And only when the board is clear,
Do you write on it the word sleep.
And each time you wipe away the word sleep,
You find yourself drifting deeper,
And deeper into a warm and sleepy sort of feeling,
A very relaxed and comfortable sort of feeling,
Deeper and deeper relaxed.
So I want you to begin now,
With the number 10,
And as you do this,
I'm going to be talking directly to your subconscious mind,
But you don't even need to listen,
Because your subconscious mind will hear everything that it needs to hear.
Good.
Notice now the points of contact your body is making with the chair or bed.
Feeling your back pressing against the surface,
See if you can feel your weight pressing down.
Now become aware of your feet,
And how they ground you to the earth.
Bringing awareness to your head,
Noticing the air surrounding you.
Breathe in the fresh oxygen,
And when you exhale,
Allow yourself to feel even more relaxed.
Notice now how your exposed skin can feel the temperature of your surroundings.
Become aware of your entire body now,
And how calm and relaxed you are in this very moment.
Feel your mind at ease,
Breathe in and out.
You have a deep understanding that each decision you have made in your life was the perfect one to lead you to this very moment.
There were no mistakes,
You're exactly as you're intended to be.
Through relaxation,
You can access all that you desire.
From here,
You can bring fruition to all you want to create.
All the great ideas that are alive in you can surface more and more with each breath you take.
Within your mind,
You can choose whatever you'd like to see,
And you can bring it into creation.
It only takes making that very first step in the direction of your dreams.
Your ultimate goal may be far from the present moment,
But the steps you need to take towards this accomplishment are right in front of you.
One step in front of you is the beginning of your dreams.
Take a slow breath in,
And release.
Release any doubt,
Any stress or worry with this breath,
And imagine that you're taking the first step right now towards success.
Only you feel motivation well up inside of you,
Because you took action.
Inspiration is grateful for you making the first move.
The inspiration to achieve all you desire comes from you.
It's within you.
It comes from you.
You are the force that makes inspiration a reality.
Breathe in and say to yourself,
I can do anything,
And breathe out any bad memories or bad emotions.
Just let them go by imagining you can do anything.
Breathe in and say,
I can let them go.
Breathe out any negative feelings or judgments from others.
Breathe in,
Feeling inspired by how you're releasing these unwanted things from your life.
Breathe out any last worry or stress.
Here in this moment,
You are fully supported,
Just as your goals are supported by your practice of letting go.
Let go of anything left you need to,
Using your breath as a tool to cleanse you.
You are so free right now from all the stress of life.
It is almost as if your purity has returned.
With this pure moment in hand,
Allow your awareness to bring about the image of a glowing light.
It is slowly changing colors from red to blue,
Then yellow to green.
This light is the source of creative inspiration.
It is the same source that all great artists and philosophers draw upon.
It almost has a smoky appearance and shines brightly from its center.
Sit with this light now and draw from it.
The inspiration that it is offering you.
Feeling your body being filled with motivation,
Noticing your mind being sparked with creativity.
Watch as the light goes from green to yellow,
Then blue to red.
Every color is shown in between.
This light is pure essence of genius and it is sharing its knowledge with you.
It is influencing you to become creative on a deeper level.
Just allow it with compassion and trust in its greatness.
The light is so beautiful and carries with it a wisdom you have never known.
Breathe in and out,
Building more inspiration with each breath.
In and out.
In and out.
Breathing in the warm glow of the creative source.
You have experienced a creative awakening.
Feel this dramatic change on every level of your being.
Now hear yourself saying these words within your mind.
Within your mind as you gaze at the creative light flashing its beauty.
New ideas come to me on a daily basis.
I have a clear vision for what I want to create from my gift of life.
When I feel inspired,
I feel enthusiastic to move towards this vision.
Engagement comes to me from many sources and people.
The awakening of my inspiration has begun.
Inspiration is the brainchild of genius.
Motivation comes from taking that first step.
Through meditative reflection comes my revelations.
Good.
Allow the image of the light to fade from your mind and experience within you the power of pure inspiration.
Notice how you feel right now.
How sleepy and relaxed you are.
And allow that inspiration to take you to sleep.
Falling asleep now.
