There is a part of you that holds your deepest wisdom. It is the part of you that connects you to all that is seen and unseen. When you are seeking direction, answers, and confidence, look inward to this higher, knowing self for guidance and assurance.

Welcome.

This meditation is about tapping into your inner wisdom.

We're going to start by getting comfortable.

Find a seat or a position lying down where you'll be comfortable,

But not so comfortable that you may doze off.

Gently close your eyes and begin to focus your attention on your breath.

Just notice at first how the air flows in and out of the body.

You don't need to do anything specific.

Just notice.

And now draw the breath a little more deeply down into your lungs,

Filling your belly,

And exhale completely.

With each inhale,

Feel the nourishment that the air,

The oxygen,

Brings every cell of your body.

Now with each exhale,

Allow that air to carry with it anything that you've been holding on to.

Any stress,

Tension,

Strain.

Let it go.

Release it with each cleansing exhale.

Imagine that you're approaching a forest.

The trees are tall.

The sunlight's coming through the upper canopy.

And yet there's a quiet,

A dappled light to this place.

Look around you.

This is your forest.

Notice the kinds of trees,

Plant life.

Listen to the sounds.

Notice what you feel on your skin.

The temperature,

The smells.

Take it all in.

And begin to explore.

Move slowly,

Intentionally.

Noticing everything.

Each thing you notice or feel or sense feels like a miracle.

Take it in as you wander and explore.

And now in the distance is the largest tree you've ever seen.

Notice what kind of tree it is.

What do the branches look like?

What does the trunk look like?

Can you see the roots above the ground?

Or are they all beneath?

As you approach,

The tree grows larger still.

It's enormous.

It's so powerful.

You can feel the energy as you move closer to this majestic tree.

But as you get closer now,

You see a woman sitting on a stone beneath the tree.

She's quiet and poised.

And before you're close enough to notice her features,

You sense that she too has a powerful energy.

You sense that she has wisdom.

She has something to tell you.

As you move closer to her,

Begin to notice everything about her.

Do you recognize her?

Is she a stranger to you?

Notice her hair,

Her face,

Clothing,

Her expression.

Notice how warmly she greets you.

You instantly know there is nothing to fear here.

This is an absolutely safe space.

There is so much love and warmth here beneath this tree with this woman.

She invites you to sit beside her and you do.

And you take a moment to look at one another.

In her eyes,

You can see that she sees you.

She knows you.

She has always known you.

Ask her a question,

Anything that you want to know.

And listen closely to her reply.

Ask her if there's anything else that she wants to tell you or give to you.

Accept it with gratitude and thank her.

Hold hands with this wise woman and feel some of that power and energy.

Notice how much of it is yours already.

Notice that you are sharing your wisdom and energy through this touch as much as you are taking hers in.

This is always here for you.

As you take your leave,

Thank her one more time.

And go back through the forest.

The way you came in.

Bring your attention back to your breath.

As you are comfortable,

Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Move your head,

Your shoulders.

Gently open your eyes.

Before you return to your busy day and your busy life.

Take a moment to record what you've taken with you from the forest.

And remember that you can revisit any time this space is always yours.

Thank you.
