Some forms of meditation are all about the method. Others are all about the lineage. Still, others revolve around a particular teacher whose charisma holds the community together. But at their core, all forms of meditation are meant to connect us with the deepest aspects of ourselves—so that we can expand our human experience by being more fully present and living with a greater sense of peace and connectivity.

Take a nice couple of deep breaths into your lungs,

Please.

As the oxygen saturates your bloodstream,

Just feel your body.

Come to me today on a journey to what to do with your multi-dimensional self.

A lot of people have hints and glimpses,

Tastes and touches of their reality beyond the norm.

Perhaps that's most obvious with an artist or an athlete in high flow.

An actor,

A singer,

A dancer.

Flashes of genius where everything is in harmony and something rises beyond just their obvious,

More obvious individual self.

But multi-dimensionality is not restricted to those kinds of people.

It's just a little more obvious.

And maybe their practice and their work helps make it more available to them from time to time.

And of course,

There are the monks,

The seers and the wise ones who seek after that knowledge.

But for us ordinary folks,

It just happens sometimes and often we don't notice it.

And the good news is if you notice it a little bit,

You can notice it more.

And if you notice it more,

You can actually practice it.

What does that mean?

There's a multi-dimensional self.

I want you to imagine and remember if you're lucky enough,

The first time you ever felt loved.

Could have been your mother's arms.

Could have been your first girlfriend.

Could have been a spouse.

You still have or had.

Could be a child.

Or you had a moment where he or she looked in your eyes and there was just that unbelievable exchange between you.

If you're lucky and blessed,

You've had this experience more than once.

Not everyone has sadly,

But many have.

Submit to you that that is a multi-dimensional moment where something transcends the ordinary,

Where it isn't just rushing to and fro and getting stuff done.

Turning to our screens,

Turning out people,

It's the opposite.

In that deep connective moment,

We share energy.

We get just a taste and a glimpse of the other and ourselves beyond the norm.

What if it's true?

What if that alone is evidence that we do have multi-dimensional selves?

Now think again to another moment where you've sat quiet and at peace with nature.

What happens to many of us,

Of course,

Is the scale of it all.

We feel at one and the same time small,

Beside an ocean or a mountain,

With the stars and a clear night.

But we also are in awe.

And we also can feel very at peace and connected.

How could that be?

How could that be?

How could we feel connected to such vastness,

Such beauty?

But we do.

And it renews us and deepens our souls.

Consider the possibility that you are much more of a multi-dimensional self than you are just a physical reality.

And by that I mean you have an energy body,

You have a biofield,

You have a substantive existence far beyond your body.

It includes your body,

It unfolds and is deeply connected,

Of course,

To your body.

So I'm not asking you to separate from it,

From your body or to see it as different,

But rather to understand that we do not end at our skin.

And if that's true,

One of the ways to deal with this is to accept that reality and begin to observe more closely what happens between people,

Between animals,

Between trees,

Between our interactions with all those different species.

What is it?

Have you ever seen an animal in the wild,

A wild animal?

You know what I'm talking about.

There could be a moment where your eyes meet and time freezes and you transcend time and space.

What if your multi-dimensional reality included the transcendence of time and space?

Just imagine that now.

Imagine going through your day,

Redoing all of your life today and all the rest of your life into the future,

Knowing that space,

That dimension,

That possibility,

That truth.

Take a moment.

Perhaps in the back of our minds or hearts,

We already know,

Perhaps our journey is to return there.

So after accepting the possibility,

The next would be to practice it.

What conditions can you create or do you create in your life that allow your multi-dimensionality,

The multi-dimensionality of all beings to emerge and be better known by you?

And practicing allows you to live it.

And living it allows others to be invoked by you.

Consider the possibility that you always were and always will be a multi-dimensional being.

Maybe you forgot for a while.

Maybe you're starting to remember more and more now.

Imagine the possibility of many people beginning to remember more and more now.

So that it becomes a collective effort.

We help one another back into our multi-dimensionality and community.

Celebration.

Welcoming us home.

Feel that now.

Just imagine.

That you're perhaps hidden,

Perhaps occasional wisdom about this.

It's getting stronger and stronger and less and less occasional.

More and more powerful.

Almost drawing you in to the truth of it.

To the clarity of it.

To the strength of it.

To the beauty of it.

This is your birthright.

And when you're ready,

Give thanks.

Come back into the room and bring just a bit of this flavor and this tone into your everyday.
