My name is Stephen and today we'll be doing a heart-centered meditation.

So,

From wherever you are,

I just invite you to get into a comfortable position.

If you're seated,

Maybe having your spine erect,

Maybe feeling your feet connected to the earth,

Or crossed,

If that feels right.

And if you're lying down,

Maybe just finding yourself in a relaxed position.

Maybe your legs spread out,

Your arms facing up,

And just start to hone in on your natural breath.

Check in.

Really tap into your heart and ask yourself how you're feeling in this moment.

What feelings,

What emotions are you holding here?

And know that whatever those feelings or emotions are,

They are completely valid and natural.

There's no need to change them.

There's no need to judge them.

And from here,

I invite you to just take a deep breath through the back of the heart.

And a deep exhale through the front.

Breathing in love through the back of the heart and exhaling through the front.

Breathing in love through the back of the heart and exhaling through the front.

Breathing in through the back of the heart and out through the front.

And from here,

I invite you to keep breathing in this manner.

Breathing in love and exhaling your light.

Breathing in love and spreading your light out from your heart center.

And if at any moment the mind drifts off,

You can return to the breath and allow those thoughts to go by like clouds in the sky.

And from here,

Taking a moment to pause,

To return to the natural rhythm of the breath.

And from here,

I'll be leading you through a short body scan just to fully bring you into the body before we fully enter the heart.

So,

Starting by bringing your awareness to your feet.

The tops of your feet.

The soles of your feet.

The toes.

The space between the toes.

The heels.

The ankles.

The calves.

The shins.

Your knees.

Your thighs.

The hips.

Maybe peering further to the hip joints.

Your buttocks.

Really feeling the seat beneath you.

Your lower back.

Mid back.

Upper back.

Your navel.

The organs beneath.

Your sternum.

Your chest.

Your ribs.

Your shoulders.

The upper arms.

The elbows.

The forearms.

Circling your awareness around your wrists.

The tops of the hands.

The palms.

Maybe feeling any heat radiating from the palms.

The fingers.

Moving up to the throat.

The back of the neck.

The scalp.

The forehead.

The eyebrows.

The eyes.

And the point between the eyes.

The nose.

And the tip of the nose.

The mouth.

The teeth.

The tongue.

Your cheeks.

The chin.

The ears.

Taking a moment just to really feel the sensation of the sounds in the room.

In the room over.

Or simply within your body.

Maybe hearing the rhythm in your heart as it ripples through the rest of your body.

And from here,

Bringing your awareness to your heart.

Is it speed fast?

Is it slow?

Take a moment to give your heart some love.

To give it some gratitude for all the work it's been doing your entire life.

Providing you with a beat and blood.

Even on your hardest days.

And you can even place your hand on your heart.

And just set the intention to soften it.

And from here just taking a deep breath in.

Holding at the top.

And fully letting go.

Taking another deep breath in.

Holding at the top.

Bringing your inner landscape to stillness.

And letting go of the breath.

And from here I invite you to join me on a brief guided visualization.

Imagine you could be at the center of your heart.

And at the center of your heart is a doorway.

Take a moment to imagine this door.

Its colors.

Its shape.

The knob.

What do you feel before you enter it?

What do you want to find out?

And from here you take a moment to open the door.

You step through.

And on the other side you find a landscape of stars.

Twinkling and shimmering.

And in the distance you see Aurora Borealis.

Colors of blue and red.

Moving and dancing.

You can feel your heart beating.

Out of sheer joy.

What else can you see?

You can see the sun in the distance.

Radiant and vibrant.

And as you expand out further you come to find that you are holding the whole universe in your heart.

So again just filling your heart with gratitude.

Imagine sending that gratitude out into the universe.

And from here I invite you to just return back.

Back out from the galaxy.

Out from the universe.

Just back to your heart.

Back out from the cosmos comes down to you a bright green golden orb.

And as it comes down it comes faster and faster spiraling and spinning in a clockwise motion.

It gets faster and faster.

Coming closer to your heart.

Until eventually it nests there.

Allow your heart space to accept this orb.

And on the count of three allow yourself to envision this orb spinning.

Growing faster in speed.

One.

Two.

Three.

Feeling this orb.

This energy in your heart center.

This magnetic pulsing.

This beautiful green ball of light gifted to you from the universe.

From here I invite you to just send some compassionate love for yourself.

Love for showing up today.

For waking up.

For getting out of bed.

For always pushing through.

Your mind can be our worst enemy.

You can be your own best friend.

You can turn the mind into a useful tool.

You can choose to love yourself.

So with that I invite you to reflect on the question,

In what ways can I better love myself this week?

Breathing into your heart center.

Any answer that comes to you.

Whether that be a sensation.

A sound.

A color.

Accept it for what it is.

And know that whatever you're thinking or feeling is right.

And from here,

Taking a moment to think of somebody who provides you a challenge in life.

Someone who emotionally gets you going.

Maybe someone you're holding resentment toward.

Take a moment to send this person some loving kindness.

Sending that energy,

That universal energy,

From your heart.

As you wish them peace,

Safety,

And health.

And from here,

I invite you to just take a moment to imagine yourself.

Cultivating a green ball of light from your heart.

Imagine it growing bigger and bigger.

Growing and growing.

Out from your heart center.

So much that this ball of light turns into a beam.

Shooting out of your heart.

And into the atmosphere.

Into the cosmos.

Spreading out into the universe.

Just taking a moment out of love and gratitude.

For the love you have in your heart.

Ashing peace,

Health,

And safety to all beings.

And from here.

Coming back to the breath.

Taking a deep breath through the back of the heart.

And exhaling through the front.

Taking a deep breath through the back of the heart.

And taking a deep exhale through the front.

Thinking about what ways you can bring love into your interactions today.

Thinking what ways you can bring love into your life in the places where it doesn't currently exist.

Know that everything that may not appear to be love is but a call for love.

And with that,

I invite you to come back to your body.

Maybe wiggle through your fingers and your toes.

And when you're ready,

I invite you to open your eyes.

Gently.
