Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.
Today we are on day 27 of our 30 day journaling challenge.
I can't believe we're almost at the end and honestly I'm starting to really enjoy it.
I don't know that I'm ready to let go but we'll see what happens when we get to day 30.
So today I decided to pull an oracle card from Denise Lin,
Her deck Sacred Traveler.
Another favorite of mine.
I love the beautiful pictures as you know I'm always drawn to pictures.
So I randomly pulled a card and I got Watching Clouds.
Lie back,
Rest and relax.
And coincidentally I happen to notice that the page number in her book is 1 2 3 and I do love those numbers.
So her card meaning is lie back,
Relax,
Put everything aside and take time to renew your energy.
It's often when you totally relax that new insights and awareness can emerge.
Take deep full breaths,
Put your feet up,
Be present in each moment,
Do nothing,
Watch clouds.
The answers that you seek will emerge easily but first you need to stop all activity.
Take naps,
Evaluate your life.
The Sacred Traveler wants you to know there are times when the most empowering thing the traveler can do is to step off the path,
Stretch out,
Lie on the earth and watch the clouds float by.
This act is renewing and regenerating.
When all the activity of the road diminishes and the traveler allows a languid relaxation to emerge,
This is most often the time when the presence of spirit can be felt.
This is also the time when significant signs appear.
Whatever is the most relaxing to you,
Stretching out in the hammock,
Watching clouds,
Taking a candlelit bath,
Walking on the seashore,
Do it.
And the challenges in your life will diminish and often simply drop away.
I love a lot about this.
What really appeals to me is watching clouds.
It reminded me that when I was a kid that was my favorite thing to do and I thought why don't I do these things anymore?
And this is not the first time this message has come up for me to watch clouds.
So I'm kind of thinking that that's what I need to start doing again.
So I think for today's journal prompt let's think about a way that we can relax.
What is something that you love doing or used to love doing that you don't do anymore?
Let's write about that and let's get back to doing things that help us to just relax.
I'm gonna put five minutes on the clock.
Let's get to writing.
So there we have it my friends.
That was five minutes on the clock.
I hope that was enough time for you to come up with ways that you can relax.
And don't forget you deserve to relax.
I know we all think that if we're not busy constantly we're not being productive.
But sometimes just sitting watching the clouds that can be productive too.
And I plan to do some of that.
I hope you do too.
Alright my friends that was it for today.
We'll be back tomorrow looking forward to it.
Until then take care.
