This is Day 18 of our 30 days of journaling. Each day we pull an oracle card and use it as a guide for our journaling time together. I love journaling and try to do it every day! Writing about what I'm feeling is my own "therapy" and has gotten me through the toughest times. It's also a wonderful way to look back and see how far I've come! Join me in this 30-day challenge to journal every day! Make it as long or as brief as you want and don't worry if you must skip a day. Sometimes life gets in the way but commit to doing it as often as possible with me! Thank you for all the feedback and positive comments. This was a longtime dream of mine, and I am so grateful for the encouragement! (I created a playlist under my teacher profile called "Journaling - 30 days" with all the tracks in order.) Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.

Today we are on day 18 of our 30 day journaling challenge.

More than halfway through and I'm very excited about how far we've come.

Also very excited about the feedback I've been getting and it's always great to know that this has been so helpful.

As I've said in my intro,

Journaling to me is so healing and it has helped me through so many things and at times been better than therapy for me.

So I'm loving that I'm able to get back into it again.

So today I decided to pull an Oracle card.

I have a lot of decks so I'm trying to use them all.

The Oracle card I pulled is from the Tree of Life Oracle by David Wells.

Another deck that I purchased based on the beautiful artwork.

The card I got today was the Tree of Life map support and connection.

Sorry I hesitated for a minute there because I thought I was reading the wrong thing.

So I went through the book and it says this card shows the central organizing system of the Kabbalah,

The map if you like.

The Sephiroth and paths hold one another in place.

Take one away and the whole system would crumble.

The glyph for the Tree of Life often feels oddly familiar to those who've never seen it before.

It is a geometric shape that holds all there was,

All there is,

And all there will be.

I have to pause here to say that this is a really great picture and I think I'm going to take a shot of it and put it on my page which you will find in the link of my Insight Timer bio just because I would love to share this picture with you.

Okay so the guidance for this card.

This card is bringing the map to your consciousness for a reason and as with all maps it can show you where you've been,

Where you are,

Where you're going,

And how to get there.

Take some time to consider the position you find yourself in.

Ask where you want to be and which experience or path will get you there.

Being fully present with the choices you make is something that brings a magic of its own.

You cannot take control of your life without it.

You are your own tree.

Acknowledge the way this form vibrates within you and as you do you can bring your physical,

Emotional,

And spiritual being into alignment.

Understand what is no longer serving you and adjust.

There could be issues of support or lack of it in your life right now.

Look at this image and ask where that lack comes from.

What personality or soul archetype is in play and how best to address it.

So this is,

I'm gonna admit it was a little deep for me at first,

But I love the theme of support and connection.

I know there are times in my life where I feel I've lacked support and honestly I think I just had to ask and asking is sometimes hard for me.

So I think we can journal on a few things here.

Is there a lack of support in your life?

Do you have a hard time asking for help as I do?

Let's set five minutes on the clock.

Think about that and get to journaling.

Okay my friends that was five minutes on the clock.

I hope you had some good insights with that prompt.

It was a great reminder to me to ask for help.

Something I have a hard time doing,

Something I'm definitely working on,

And something that I'm getting better at.

So tomorrow we will be back with day 19.

Till then,

Keep writing.

Hi Violet, how are you today? Thank you so much for these great prompts to the questions? I can resonate with you, and can relate to this feeling. I wasn’t very good at asking for help or support, there was a bit of stubbornness about me here, asking for support, prior to my major surgery wasn’t something I would consider, even when my “sister” asked if I needed help or the emotional support! Since having major surgery two years ago, and eight weeks after I came home from the hospital, was a total shock to the system. This was before my new diagnosis of more than one disability (visible and invisible)). I kept “pushing” my sister”S offer for help and support me away, “all because of my stubbornness”. Two years later to 2025, after a challenging year in 2024, with a news diagnosis of more than one disability, things are looking up. This is a work in progress for me, and hopefully I will soon be able to receive the “physical and emotional support” through the NDIS as a participant soon. At the time, my confidence was at fracturing point of everything I went through, and I found it difficult to pick myself up again, but I am grateful for this “change of circumstances, and Maureen’s help and support.

I loved this card. I’m not sure how they are all connected to me each day but they are. Thank you Violet.
