Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.
As you know,
We recently completed a 30-day journaling challenge,
But I decided I was enjoying these journaling prompts so much that I would just continue to put some out every now and then.
I hope that you will continue journaling with me and that some of them will spark a little bit of interest and get you to continue journaling and get you hopefully to love it as much as I do.
The last time I did a journaling prompt from a poem by Rumi and today I thought I would use Hope and Love by Jane Hirshfield.
There's something about this poem that I really love and that one line in it,
Hope is the hardest love we carry,
Has been one of my favorite lines for a while.
I often use it,
I refer to it when I'm journaling and I thought today I would read you that poem and we would use that as our journaling prompt.
Hope and Love by Jane Hirshfield.
All winter the blue heron slept among the horses.
I do not know the custom of herons,
Do not know if the solitary habit is their way or if he listened for some missing one.
Not knowing even that was what he did in the blowing sounds in the dark.
I know that hope is the hardest love we carry.
He slept with his long neck folded like a letter put away.
What a beautiful poem and you know this can mean a lot of things to a lot of people I think for our journaling prompt I want us to think about what gives us hope and about that line that I love so much,
Hope is the hardest love we carry.
So let's put five minutes on the clock and let's get to journaling my friends.
All right my friends that was five minutes and I hope that you had a lot to say.
I hope that you continue to enjoy journaling and I hope that that line means a lot to you as it does to me.
I know that hope is the hardest love we carry.
Until next time my friends have a fabulous day and thank you for joining me on this journey.
