Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.
Today we are on day seven of our 12 days of gratitude journaling.
So today I looked for a good deck to pull a card from and I decided to go with Numerology by Michelle Buchanan.
I'm very much into numbers so numerology is something that was a huge interest of mine and I randomly pulled a card and I got number eight manifestation and of course you know I love the number eight it's in my name that I use here Violet 108 and I've explained what the 108 is about many times so I'll skip that for now but I'm gonna get into what number eight stands for.
This card indicates a need to acknowledge the power of your mind and your ability to manifest your desires.
You are being urged to familiarize yourself with the law of attraction and clarify your wants and needs for you have entered a powerful cycle of divine manifestation.
Provided that your dreams serve the greater good as well as the intentions of your soul,
The universe will assist you in making them come true.
By drawing this card you are being reminded that successful manifestation requires more than just positive and wishful thinking.
You must also surrender the outcome to the divine and detach from the results.
Remember that the law of attraction works both ways so pay attention to your doubts worries and fears and monitor your negative thoughts.
Then focus predominantly on what you want rather than what you fear or don't want.
In order to improve your current situation you are being asked to adjust to and harmonize with the natural rhythm and cycles of your life.
Cycles that are leading you toward a time of manifestation.
By making peace with your life as it is today and appreciating what you already have,
You will create the life you've always imagined.
And the affirmation on this card is I use my thoughts to make my dreams come true.
Well of course I love this card for a journaling prompt because we're talking about gratitude and as it says here if you appreciate what you already have you will create the life you've always imagined.
And I really do believe that that is why my life has turned the way it has.
I struggled a lot when I was younger.
I struggled a lot when I was first married and I was a new mom but somewhere along the line I learned to appreciate what I have and the more I did that the better things got for me.
So I was thinking about this weekend.
I spent a beautiful weekend with my family and I think from the moment my grandson walks towards me until he leaves I've nothing but a big smile on my face.
He's two and a half years old and he absolutely brings out the best in me and I think he has been a huge influence on me because he reminds me of what it means to live in the present and to just feel grateful.
I see the little things that make him happy and I think when did we lose that two-year-old side of us that was just thrilled to be playing with a box or walking through the mall looking at pretty lights just anything that we did with him.
Yes they do have their moments and their tantrums but they know how to live in the moments and they know how to bring excitement to everything.
I thought as a journaling prompt we would use what is something you're grateful for that you've learned from a child.
So think about the children you've interacted with maybe it's your child or a niece a nephew a neighbor's child any child that you've interacted with recently or in the past and think about something that you might have learned from that child.
For me again it's definitely being able to live in the moment.
My two and a half year old grandson has taught me that so well and I'm so grateful for that.
So let's put a few minutes on the clock and let's do some journaling.
All right my friends I hope you got some good thoughts down in your journal and that you have had time to reflect on these things that you are also grateful for and I hope that you will share some of them with me in your comments and your feedback.
I love hearing from all of you.
I love knowing how this gratitude journaling is going for you because for me personally I've been just focusing on these 12 days of gratitude have really changed my point of view.
There are times I find myself kind of having a moment and then I'll go back to focusing on my gratitude and my gratitude journaling and my vibration completely changes.
So I hope this is working for you as well.
Please let me know how you are doing and let's meet back here tomorrow for day 8 of our 12 days of gratitude journaling.
Until then my friend have an amazing day.
