Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.
Today we are on week 52 of our year of journaling.
Yes,
We are at our grand finale and I can't believe an entire year has flown by.
Honestly feels like just yesterday I had started this and it seemed like a huge task and now that the year is over I'm almost sorry to see it go but we're moving on to bigger and better things and I'm excited and I've got more things coming so keep an eye out for all that.
As always I pulled a random card from the Cosmic Journey Oracle by Yannick Silver and got number 29.
To be enlightened lighten up.
What a perfect way to end the year.
Such a great reminder to close this year out with curiosity compassion and light.
All right so I went to his book and I read it's incredible to realize that everything you see around you and every element you are made of was once inside an exploding star.
It's true you are made of stars and born of the earth but also co-created by plants and bacteria and fungi.
As Carl Sagan put it the cosmos is within us.
We are made of star stuff.
We are a way for the universe to know itself.
So then why are you taking yourself so seriously?
Why do you want the universe to know of darkness and struggle or light and joy?
Your cosmic journey can be whatever you make of it.
You get to write your own punchline and finally be let in on the great cosmic joke.
Laughter is the greatest medicine.
Do you remember the last time you really laughed?
Like the belly aching stomach tightening laugh?
To be enlightened requires you to lighten up.
So our journaling question what's the greatest cosmic joke?
And he says here get creative and draw or sketch it out too.
There's a little activity here.
Watch your favorite comedy and laugh your butt off.
He used another word but I won't use that on Insight Timer.
Anyway I love the lightness and just the joy in this card in general and I love the opportunity to journal on something happy,
Something that makes me laugh,
Just anything that brings a huge smile to my face.
And again a little bittersweet with the year ending and our year of journaling coming to a close but also excited to see what's ahead.
So let's put some time on the clock.
Let's listen to Blossom Violet's beautiful piano music and let's do some journaling.
All right my friends I hope you had a lot to reflect on.
I look forward to hearing what you thought about in this final week of our year of journaling and I'm excited to share that I have some new things planned for next year.
One of the things I've always loved is journaling around full moons and new moons so I plan to make some new tracks next year right around those themes every month.
I've often said during my lives that the new moon journaling has always brought about some great new beginnings for me and we all know the full moon brings some wonderful energy so I'm excited to do some journaling around that time and create some tracks for you around these themes.
And again I want to thank everyone for your support throughout this year in these 52 weeks of journaling.
They've been amazing.
I know that I will continue seeing you in lives and hearing from you through some of the other tracks that I have here on Insight Timer and I'm excited to get our next year started and to keep doing some journaling with you.
So until then,
Which will be soon,
Continue to shine like the bright diamond that you are.
Please continue to keep in touch and have an amazing day,
An amazing week,
And an amazing end of your year.
Thank you,
My friends.
