A Year Of Journaling With The Violets - Week 49

Over the next 52 weeks, we'll use journaling as a tool for deep self-discovery—a chance to reflect, embrace, and shape your future with honesty and without fear. Each week a new Oracle card provides a prompt to guide you, but remember, this is your journey. There are no rules. Take what resonates and leave the rest. Whether you prefer pen and paper or a digital format, scripting, doodling, or writing, the key is to engage and enjoy the process.

Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.

Today we are on week 49 of our year of journaling.

Yes,

We're almost at the end of our 52 weeks.

And I,

For one,

Am amazed at how great this has been an experience and how quickly it has gone by.

It seemed like just yesterday we were starting with week 1.

I couldn't imagine getting through 52 weeks.

And as time went on,

It got easier and easier.

And I'm loving it.

But anyway,

As always,

I pulled a card from the Cosmic Journey Oracle by Yanique Silver.

And I got number 7.

Close your eyes to open your heart.

The ultimate seeing eye dog is at hand.

Just look again.

It's spelled backwards.

If you give up your limited perspective and see through the eyes of Spirit,

You would see that everything is perfectly unfolding in the exact right order and timing.

Your greatest vision will never come from seeing outward.

It's only by looking inside.

Trust yourself to look beyond your physical eyes.

Close your eyes to open your heart.

Who said the limit was what you can see right now?

And our journaling question.

If I could look through the eyes of the universe,

What would I see about my path that's perfect now?

I love this question because we're at that time of year here where we're getting close to the holidays.

It's almost the end of the year.

And I'm definitely looking towards next year.

So what a beautiful question to reflect on.

There's also a little activity here.

If you like to draw symbols,

Draw your own unique symbols with an eye and stash them around your house,

Car,

Workplace,

Etc.

I hope that if you did do some doodling,

You will send me a message and share those pictures with me because I love artistic and creative people.

I don't think that I have a flair for art,

But I do love doodling and I did enjoy this.

And I was looking forward to what I could be doing in 2020,

The upcoming year.

And I had so many thoughts to journal about.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go back to this one later because I'm going to need more time.

But one of the things that occurred to me about my path is that everything is perfect right now because it is unfolding exactly as it should be.

I'm exactly where I need to be right now.

And quite honestly,

I'm really loving life.

So that's a good thing.

So today happens to be my 25th wedding anniversary and we’ve been thinking back to that day 25 years ago when the one thought we didn’t have was what would life be like in 25 years time. We had no plans, other than to be together (having already having done so for 15 years). Looking back though, it’s been an amazing trajectory and journey. We’re still very much in love, living in a perfect house in a perfect location with two lovely doggie companions. I’m sitting on a legacy of amazing content that only started building 20 years ago, so again not in the projected view of what lay ahead 25 years ago. I happen to have been presented with at amazing plan going forward for contributing to humanity’s wisdom pool. The plan by the way came in all by itself so will of course yield surprises that will be unplanned. So it’s all perfect and made ever more perfect by aligning with the cosmic plan and yielding to the cosmic will. Poignantly though, we’re also thinking that, in another 25 years, we’ll be in our 90s.

For me, 2025 has been a huge year for me, upon this question, I am still drafting my journal piece, one I share these personal reflections.
