It's Victoria here from Breathe and Be Mindful retreats.

I'd like you to relax wherever you're sitting or lying.

Starting to listen to the breathing as it gently comes in and out of the nose.

I'd like you to place one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly.

And without any judgement acknowledge which hand is moving.

The hand on the chest or the hand on the belly.

And I'd like you to bring your attention again to the breath as it comes back in and out of the nostrils.

The soft gentle flow of your breathing.

Feel the breath as it comes down the back of the throat.

Feel the breath as it enters your lungs.

You may be able to feel the ribs moving.

And encourage the movement of the breath all the way down to the bottom part of the lungs.

Diaphragm muscle gently pulls down.

And on the inhale the belly rises softly.

On the exhale the belly relaxes.

On the inhale the belly rises.

On the exhale the belly softens.

Inhale belly rising.

Exhale belly softening.

And just continue with this movement concentrating on the breath.

Bringing yourself into the present moment by using the breath.

Inhale the belly rising.

Exhale belly softening.
