Welcome to this short happiness meditation.

Find a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in.

Slowly exhale.

Let go of any tension in your body.

Relax your shoulders.

Feel your body sink into the surface beneath you.

Focus on your breath.

Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

With each inhalation and exhalation.

Allow your breath to become a natural rhythm.

Soothing and calming your mind and body.

As you continue to breathe.

Bring your attention to the sensations in your body.

Notice any areas of tension.

Allow them to soften.

With each exhalation.

Feel the relaxation spreading through your body.

Bringing a sense of peace and calm.

Silently repeat to yourself the following affirmations.

Building up your overall sense of happiness.

I am willing to be happy.

I deserve to feel happy.

I choose to be happy.

My heart is open to happiness.

With every breath.

I feel happier and happier.

Happiness is my natural state.

Take a few more deep breaths.

Savoring this growing feeling of happiness.

And contentment.

When you are ready.

Bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

And slowly open your eyes.

Carry this feeling of happiness and joy with you throughout your day.
