Hello.
Thank you for being here with me,
Verna Fisher,
And another meditation for everyday situations.
This meditation is a simple yet profound reminder of not only our mortality,
But and perhaps even more importantly,
Our timeless nature.
Whether you have a loved one facing their dying or one who has died,
It is my hope this short meditation will provide a moment of comfort,
Of peace,
And perhaps gratitude.
I invite you to now close your eyes,
Settle into your chair,
And take a few gentle,
Easy breaths.
Simply follow along,
Repeating the words if you like.
And now,
Let us begin.
Dying and Rising In all death,
Life arises in a new form.
This new form will also die,
Eventually,
One day,
Perhaps with warning,
Perhaps without.
If we have eyes to see and ears to hear,
We will recognize the dying and the rising.
If we remain open and willing,
Open and willing,
Open,
Willing.
Heart and mind,
Heart,
Mind.
We will recognize,
We will see,
We will hear,
And we will know without a doubt that all will die and all will be transformed,
Risen again,
Anew.
In all death,
Life arises in a new form.
This new form will also die,
Eventually,
One day,
Perhaps with warning,
Perhaps without.
If we have eyes to see and ears to hear,
We will recognize the dying and the rising.
If we remain open and willing,
Open and willing,
Open,
Willing.
Heart and mind,
Heart,
Mind.
We will recognize,
We will see,
We will hear,
And we will know without a doubt that all will die and all will be transformed,
Risen again,
Anew.
And now just gently open your eyes,
Breathe,
And return to this meditation whenever you feel a little bit down and want to be reminded that yes,
All will die,
But all will rise again.
Thank you for being here with me.
Have a beautiful day.
