One of the most accessible tools to center yourself, steady a busy mind, or clear brain fog, is to start by focusing on your external senses. This brings you to the present moment. This track is short and sweet so you can fit it in during work or any busy day where it's important to disrupt the stress cycle. My suggestion is to find a spot outdoors or look out at nature. However, you can really listen to this meditation anywhere. We’re going to practice bringing attention to our external senses. In my experience, students find sight and sound the easiest to connect with. Note: you may like to participate in this meditation without headphones so you can tune into the sounds in your environment, especially if you have noise-canceling headphones.
