Welcome.
Welcome to rest.
It is so important that you made the choice to pause and breathe and interrupt whatever the spinning dialogue that was going on in our mind and body before we sat down to meditate.
See if we can begin to feel the ground beneath you whether you're sitting or lying down.
Really feeling held by the pull of gravity.
When we're anxious at times can feel very ungrounded or almost as if we could perhaps float away and yet we are really truly grounded to this earth.
So just see if you can find a moment to rest and find a bit of comfort and safety.
The very notion of gravity holding you close and in contact with Mama Earth.
If you would like you may soften your gaze or shut your eyes if you haven't already done so.
And I just first invite you to give yourself permission that anything that's showing up for you right now is okay.
You might spin with anxiety or have a racing mind.
I feel like this is so uncomfortable just to sit and listen to.
I urge you to take your time and breathe and just see if you can dip your toes in the water into the space.
Or if you begin to slow and quiet down.
We're like constantly running and running and we're fearing this thing on the inside that we're so used to running away from and yet it's the funniest thing when we actually turn towards it.
It's like the monster disappears and in its place is beauty and love and that's perhaps an overly simplistic way to describe it because I know that there's a lot of work on our insides to discern what what is ours what isn't inherently ours.
All the trauma downloads we've experienced over time that's reinforced what we think is safe and not safe to do in the world.
Invite a sense of gratitude into your body,
Mind,
Soul,
Spirit.
Feel the gratitude deep down in your bones that regardless of all the crap going on all the chaos all the hard stuff that you are here showing up choosing you once again choosing goodness recommitting to mindful intentional path of living your best life.
This isn't the easy route.
This is uncomfortable and hard hard work and yet where the magic happens.
See if we can give ourselves grace to let all the messy unfinished perhaps still traumatized parts of us just exist on the inside.
Without this idea that we have to judge ourselves or fix ourselves or hide our emotional baggage whatever.
We all experience these things and our culture has become masterful at helping us hide them and yet we all experience them.
I've sat with thousands of humans at this point in the role of holding space for transformation,
Healing,
Sharing of innermost,
Heartbreaks and dreams.
The crazy thing is that we're all kind of kind of the same on the inside like for sure hella diversity and all kinds of things but we all are struggling with the same stuff you guys and we're all trying so hard to act like we aren't.
What if we just stopped that whole charade and we're just real?
How might that transform our lives?
How might we get out of this trap of feeling like every other person out there is doing this thing right and we are just kind of trying to hold it together at the seams on our end.
Everybody's struggling y'all.
Everybody.
If anyone's trying to promise you and say that you know if you just do this one program and buy this next thing that then you will experience a state of bliss that you will never you know leave that's not real life guys.
My life is messy and we get to the good by going through the messy and I'm just in the midst of it with all of you.
I'm not I don't have it all figured out but I do know that taking this time and creating the sacred space and inviting you into it changes the world.
Changes your heart,
Changes exponentially your impact all who come across you.
So thank you for choosing you and truly truly I consider it a sacred honor that you would take your time your precious sweet life and listen to me and let me give you a little love and guidance.
You were so so so capable and enough.
All that not enoughness and all that garbage is just programming.
You are loved,
You are brave,
You are just fantastic and I love being able to share this time with you.
Namaste.
