Thank you, Vaz. I always found such disappointment in Christian projections of God—even as a child, I knew there was no old man in the sky who we had to pray to and obey, and who had put us “in charge” of all other beings on the planet. There was so much more, and it was all interrelated—after all, we ate the animals, plants of all kinds…what were we but them? It’s been gratifying to follow the explorations of modern astrophysics and to learn we are, all of us, but wrinkles in the quantum foam—and whatever that eternal, omnipotent energy is, we are that, and that is us, and that is all I can know with the senses and history and cumulative knowledge at my service. And that is enough.

I love this. Except for the line where you say "I Am here in this moment and gone in the next". That's not true. For all the reasons that you state in the remainder of the meditation.
The Divine is in everything... in EVERY moment. ALL the time. Never "gone".
We ARE the Divine. 🙏🏼💖
