This 5 minute meditation is specifically designed to bring a boost of self-compassion and self belief back into the mind. Leaving you with a warm glow from within. This can be practised at any time, but with the calming qualities, it is a very soothing, positive way to end your day.

Transcript

Welcome to this self-belief meditation.

Start by finding a comfortable place.

You can either be seated or lying down.

And just make sure that you won't be disturbed for the next five or so minutes.

And then once you've found that comfortable place,

Just bringing your awareness to your breath.

Taking a few very deep breaths.

In and out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And then bringing that awareness to just above your belly button.

Placing your hands here.

This is your third chakra,

Your solar plexus.

And it is the area of confidence and self-belief and self-power.

So just focusing your attention on this space.

And breathing into that place.

Breathing in deeply.

And breathing out deeply.

As you do this,

Feel your hands just moving away.

And then coming back with the breath.

Press the hands away on the inhale.

And as you exhale,

The belly draws in and so do the hands.

And as you keep breathing here with your focus on the solar plexus area,

Imagine a bright yellow light at this place.

Imagine the light is illuminating and glowing from your solar plexus.

Feel the warmth of that light,

That glow of the light in your body.

And keep breathing deeply into this place.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Now as you visualise this light,

We'll move through some affirmations.

As I say each one,

Repeat it in your mind as if you know it is true.

I am capable of achieving many things.

I am strong.

I am worthy of love.

I am open to all life's experiences.

And I am calm and free.

Breathing in and breathing out.

I am capable of achieving many things.

I am strong.

I am worthy of love.

I am open to all life's experiences.

I am calm and I am free.

Breathing in and breathing out.

I am capable of achieving many things.

I am strong.

I am worthy of love.

I am open to all life's experiences.

And I am calm and I am free.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And now coming back to that yellow light.

Coming back to the point just above the belly button.

Breathing into this space.

And as you do,

Allow that yellow light to flood the entire body.

Feel the warmth and glow of that yellow light.

Reaching all points and corners of the body.

And now letting that yellow light spread out into the space around you.

And enjoy that sense of joy,

Of warmth and of calm clarity.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And in your own time you can begin to open your eyes and move forward with the rest of your day.
