Hi,
Welcome to the daily mantra.
This is Valin Dawson and I will be using both words and sound to guide you back into your own deep presence.
Today's mantra,
I release all shame and judgment about my need for deep intimacy and connection with others.
I allow myself to be truly seen and heard.
I refuse to fulfill this need with other substitutes that are inferior ways of feeling connected such as social media,
Consumption,
Or drama.
And I allow anyone who makes me feel like I am too much,
Too intense,
Or too whatever to fall by the wayside.
Close your eyes.
Hello dear one.
I want you to know that there is nothing wrong with you.
This desire you have to connect with another.
You are not needy.
You are not too much.
There is a reason this desire for intimacy and connection and longing have been given to you.
We are meant to have intimacy with others.
It is through our intimacy with others that we can truly see ourselves.
And yet it is so easy to try to fulfill this need with other substitutes.
I am here to tell you to follow this longing straight to the source.
Social media,
Consumption,
And false dramas will not bring you the connection you seek.
You must first connect with yourself.
Hold your own precious heart and know the love it has to give is sacred.
Honor the love that it has to share.
And honor the way it is also meant to receive.
You are meant to have both.
Both the giving and the receiving that your heart is meant for.
Do not be ashamed.
Those that can both receive and give love to you will appear.
Take a moment and ask your heart what it needs the most from you.
Is it gentleness?
Is it a setting of boundaries for those who make you feel like you are too much?
Or is it an allowing?
An allowing of those who would like to get close to you,
To know you,
To connect with you.
Provide sacred space for your heart and then give your heart what it needs.
Rest here beautiful spirit.
When you connect to this sacred place,
Others will feel this connection.
Your light will draw theirs and you will know that you were never too much.
You are meant to have both.
Both the giving and the receiving that your heart is meant for.
And honor the love that it has to share.
And honor the way it is also meant to receive.
And honor the way it is also meant to receive.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
