Welcome to this three-minute meditation.
Return to calm.
Wherever you are,
Take a moment to settle.
Close your eyes if it's safe to do so.
And take a deep breath in.
And as you breathe in,
Breathe deep into the belly.
Breathing out slowly.
There's nothing you need to do right now.
And there's nowhere you need to be.
Under the noise of the day,
There is stillness.
Thoughts may be swirling,
And that's okay.
Just notice them.
Just let them pass like clouds in the sky.
For you are not your thoughts.
You are the calm awareness underneath them.
And every moment offers a fresh beginning.
A chance to pause.
To breathe.
And return to what's real.
Peace isn't found in the outside world.
Peace begins within.
Take another deep breath in.
In through the nose,
Into the belly.
And then breathe out through the mouth.
Letting it all go.
Breathing in this way.
You'll find stillness.
Breathing in this way.
You know you are safe.
You are held.
And you are whole.
