Everyone

This meditation is intended to support you in getting in touch with an easy breathing pattern, reset your nervous system, and maintain the breath and steadiness beyond the practice. This is the embodiment of practice, recognizing it as an opportunity to connect to the continued state of balance your body needs and launch into a state of perpetuated coherence.

Transcript

Practice this meditation lying down,

Seated on the floor or on a block,

Blanket,

Seated at the edge of a firm chair with your heels underneath your knees,

Standing with the feet parallel and the shoulders relaxing.

Choose what feels right for you.

Today,

We align to nature's time.

The perfect imperfection of expansion,

Cell division,

Inhales and exhales,

Approximations of the same thing,

Never quite perfectly the same,

And yet enormously close.

Breathe through your nose.

Gently filter the air into the body.

Feel the body move,

The exhale out.

Ground yourself.

Feel the tailbone anchor.

Let it orient toward the core of the earth.

Feel the connection.

Keep matching the size of the inhale to the size of the exhale,

Trusting the system to create evenness naturally.

Soften your effort.

Soften your jaw.

Release any manipulation of the breath.

Continue to breathe through the nose.

Breathe on.

We are one.
