This is Breathing Broadcast.

Broadcasting,

Breathing practices,

Meditations,

And all things breathing.

As you begin your breathing practice today,

Remember to practice with ease.

If an added element to the practice creates tension,

Drop that element away.

Breathe through your nose.

Take your hands to either side of your rib cage,

Giving yourself a hug,

And spread your fingers along your ribs so that you can feel the bones.

And now do exactly that.

Feel the bones of the rib cage expand,

Initiating the inhale from the low ribs in the back,

Pausing,

And then expanding up,

Filling up the breath from the low ribs to the top of the rib cage,

Pausing again,

And then exhaling.

Inhale.

Pause.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

Keep going.

Feel.

Continue on this process with your two-part inhale,

One-part exhale.

At some point,

Take your hands away and see if you can still be aware of the expansion of the ribs as you take each breath.

Soft.

Easeful.

Keep improving the quality and the nature of the breath.

Soft.

Empire.

Flap.

Let me know,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey,

Hey.

Return to a normal breath.

Breathe on.

We are one.
