Hello and welcome to Two Crows Flying,

A motivational podcast where I share poetry for the soul and my inner thoughts.

I am a shamanic practitioner and ecotherapist.

I believe that connecting with Mother Earth and speaking on her behalf is a revelatory moment.

Our prime function in the world is to be a steward to all our relations.

I hope that you enjoy my innermost views.

Today I am going to be talking about connecting with your higher self and I am going to lead you on a meditation.

Meditation is a powerful tool for connecting with your higher self.

It can help you break through barriers of ego,

Fear and doubt and open up to a greater understanding of yourself and your place in the world.

By learning to quiet the mind and enter a state of heightened consciousness,

You can gain access to inner wisdom and spiritual growth.

This podcast will explore this kind of technique to connect with your higher self.

The concept of higher self refers to a spiritual aspect of yourself that is often described as the best and truest version of yourself.

This aspect of yourself is connected to the divine or the universe and when you connect with it,

You experience a deep sense of inner peace,

Wisdom and clarity.

It's the part of yourself that knows your life purpose and is always guiding you towards your higher potential.

This is a journey that requires you to be in touch with your spiritual side and you can take some practice,

Patience and persistence in order to connect.

One of the best ways to start connecting with your higher self is through meditation,

Which allows you to quiet your mind and focus on your breath and this will allow you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings and to connect with your inner wisdom.

Connecting with your higher self can lead to numerous benefits in your daily life by accessing your wisdom and intuition.

You can make more informed decisions that align with your true self and values as well as your true purpose.

Additionally,

There are some specific benefits you can experience from connecting.

Increased self-awareness.

When you connect with your higher self,

You gain a greater understanding of who you truly are and your unique purpose in life.

This heightened self-awareness can help you develop a deeper sense of self-confidence and self-esteem.

Reduced stress and anxiety.

Regularly connecting with your higher self through meditation can help you feel more grounded and centred.

This can lead to reduced stress and anxiety as you develop a stronger sense of inner peace and calm.

It can also assist you with enhanced creativity and inspiration.

By accessing your inner wisdom,

You may experience creative creativity and inspiration in your work,

Hobbies and personal life.

Overall,

Connecting with your higher self can lead you to a more fulfilling,

Authentic and purposeful life.

I am now going to lead you on a meditation to connect with your higher self.

Find a quiet,

Comfortable place.

Choose a place where you can meditate without any distractions and make sure you're comfortable.

You can sit on a cushion or a chair or you can even lie down if you feel more comfortable.

Set your intention to speak to your higher self.

What do you hope to gain from this practice?

What would you really like your higher self to tell you?

What do you really wish to know?

So take some deep in-breaths.

Deep in-breaths.

Relax your shoulders and unclench your jaw.

Connect through your feet if you're sitting.

If you're lying down,

Connect with your whole body to Mother Earth and just slowly start relaxing and keep your intention in mind.

What do you wish your higher self to tell you?

Slowly,

Slowly relax.

And now you find yourself standing in a beautiful meadow.

Up ahead is a forest and you begin walking to the forests very slowly.

And you feel the warmth of Mother Earth beneath your feet.

You feel the winds blowing in your hair.

And you feel your beautiful heartbeat.

And you are aware of your breath.

And you enter into the forest and smell the beautiful loamy leaves that are composting beneath you.

And you find yourself walking towards a stream and you feel the cool water of the stream flow over your feet as you continue walking.

Up ahead is a clearing and in that clearing is a beautiful tall tree.

A tree that you love and know.

And you walk up to it and place your face against this beautiful tree and put your arms around it and say thank you for being here for me.

This is your world tree in which you will travel to the upper world to connect with your highest self.

You find yourself suddenly melting into the tree and ascending through the branches,

Through the leaves,

Up and up and up until you find yourself in a place of light,

Beautiful platinum light and you find yourself feeling as if you are home.

You take a look around you and there in the distance is a beautiful garden.

You're still surrounded by this beautiful light but as you begin to walk the light slowly turns into a magnificent garden with flowers of every kind that you love.

You can even smell the fragrances of your favourite fragrant plant,

Lavender,

Rose,

Jasmine and there on a bench sits someone you know so well.

This being looks like you but has a radiant feel about them and you realise that this is your highest self,

Your true essence that lives within you all the while.

Oh you are so happy to see each other and you embrace one another and you sit down in front of this beautiful being and you look into their eyes and you say that you are so happy to be here and you have a question for them.

I now leave you alone with this beautiful being to ask the question and to receive the answer.

Answers can come in various forms such as feelings in your body,

Visualisations or words that you might hear or you might not even receive anything and this being then can come and visit you in your dream state.

Allow yourself time as you listen to this beautiful music to receive your answers.

You might find yourself needing even more time to speak to this wonderful being.

This meditation is to assist you in understanding that you can come to this place at any time you wish.

You thank your highest self and ask them to be with you more often so that whenever you need to connect with a higher aspect of self that can help you in the moment to make decisions,

To connect with that deeper self of you that knows better,

You slowly bow and thank yourself again and you leave the space walking through this beautiful garden.

Again as the garden fades you step into the light and find yourself descending into the tree until you step out and begin walking through the forest back to the meadow from where you came.

You are encouraged to use this kind of meditation for yourself as often as possible.

We often are jumbled about by life's things that happen to us in a day,

In a week.

Life can be suffering and often we need another aspect of ourselves that is able to make a clearer decision,

A calmer decision,

A decision that is crystal clear with clarity.

This is when you can stop in your day and connect with that self of yours that is your wisest and highest self.
