Breaking Free,

A meditation for transforming generational poverty consciousness.

Poverty consciousness is not just about financial struggle.

It's a deeply ingrained mindset,

Often passed down through generations,

Shaping how we perceive abundance,

Worthiness and possibility.

Many of us carry ancestral patterns of scarcity,

Fear and limitation,

Inherited from those who came before us.

This meditation is a gentle,

Loving invitation to acknowledge these patterns,

Honour the resilience of our ancestors and open ourselves to a new way of relating to abundance.

Before we begin,

Find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably,

Light a candle or hold an object that represents abundance to you.

Allow yourself to settle into the moment,

Knowing that this practice is not about blame or shame,

But about liberation,

Healing and stepping into a new story.

Take a deep breath and let's begin.

To move forward we must first recognize the burdens we carry.

Without judgment,

Reflect on your relationship with money.

Have you experienced fear,

Lack or unworthiness around it?

Have you witnessed money being used as a tool of control or scarcities?

Perhaps these patterns were taught to you,

Inherited from ancestors who struggled through war,

Displacement or hardship.

Allow these memories to surface,

Knowing they do not define you.

Imagine these experiences as clouds passing in the sky.

Acknowledge them,

But do not hold on to them.

Now we will engage in the Ho'oponopono,

A Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.

Silently or aloud,

Repeat these words as a mantra.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

You are saying this for yourself,

But also for your lineage.

Call upon the spirit of money itself and acknowledge any fear,

Mistrust or irresistance you have held.

And say,

I am sorry.

Apologise in your own words for any ways you may have rejected abundance and invite money back into your life as an honoured guest.

Money is also a living energy,

Just like all things on Mother Earth.

Speak to the spirit of money with sincerity.

Acknowledge that you have carried fear,

Mistrust or resistance.

Apologise for not trusting its flow.

Speak to it as if it were a dear friend you have let down.

And you might feel a shift already.

Now shift your heart centre into your mind,

The place of love.

Feel the energy shifting and sense the release in heart expression as you reconcile with the true energy of abundance.

Take a deep in-breath and slowly exhale.

Now imagine yourself walking through a lush forest.

Feel the earth beneath your feet.

The warmth of the sun of your skin and the gentle rustling of leaves.

As you journey forward you come across a sacred clearing.

In the centre of this space lies a shimmering pool fed by a crystal clear stream that flows endlessly from the heart of the earth.

The water sparkles with an ethereal glow.

Carrying the energy of abundance and renewal.

Around this beautiful pool there is a seat and you can now take a seat and call upon your ancestors both those you know and those unknown to you and say quietly to them I call upon my maternal and paternal ancestors who have carried poverty consciousness and fear of money.

I call you with love for the sake of our lineage so that we may clear these inherited energies surrounding money generosity and exchange.

I also call upon those who have withheld barter,

Exchange and money from others too.

I recognise that you may have endured hardships through war,

Famine and violence.

Some of you may have also withheld money from others.

I am here to help release these burdens and transform this karma.

Now visualise jugs of water in front of each ancestor stretching as far as you can see.

A jug sits before you as well.

The water represents the energy of ever flowing abundance.

And you realise that there is a stream flowing into this beautiful pool and there is a stream flowing out of it.

The stream symbolises the river of life while the pool represents your financial energy in this lifetime.

But as you observe the pool you notice that debris has collected in its waters old leaves,

Broken branches and stones that have disrupted its natural flow from the stream entering it and leaving it.

These obstacles represent the inherited fears limited beliefs and past wounds that have blocked the abundance meant to flow through your lineage.

And you will notice that your lineage is now standing around the pool stretching far into existence.

And you say to them I have brought you here with love and invite you to join me in a prayer of release and reconciliation.

This is an opportunity to acknowledge and heal any ways in which you and I may have misused the energy of money.

Please reflect on your past actions as we say together again.

This might feel like peace,

Relief or an internal release.

And now say Together we will now remove the obstacles blocking the flow of abundance.

And one by one you begin to remove the obstacles.

Lift the heavy stones of generational hardship.

Clear away the tangled branches of scarcity and sweep aside the murky remnants of ancestral pain.

With each piece you remove,

The water becomes clearer,

Its energy growing stronger.

You feel a deep sense of relief,

Knowing that you are opening a way for prosperity to flow unimpeded.

Give this process time and notice how the level of the pool changes as the current flows freely once more.

Observe how the level of the pool changes.

Observe how the debris coming out of the river or stream that is coming into the pool suddenly rises and begins to flow.

Also observe the stream or river flowing out of the pool becoming fuller.

This is the currency now flowing clearly.

Now is the opportunity to reclaim your abundance from your generations.

You will now pick up that jug and say to your ancestors,

Each of us has a jug before us.

This stream represents the river of life and abundance and the pool represents our collective financial energy.

Please pick up your jug and begin pouring it into the pool.

This act symbolizes returning money to those you may have wronged and receiving what is rightfully yours.

Keep pouring until you sense a balance and restoration.

Money is a current.

It moves like a river flowing through your life and into the lives of others.

What you spend enriches someone else.

Visualize each ancestor stepping forward carrying a jug of water.

This water represents their relationship with abundance.

Some jugs may be murky with fear.

Others may be nearly empty but they still have water.

Invite them to pour their water into this pool watching as the waters merge and transform.

As the energy of scarcity dissolves the pool begins to glow even brighter.

Its surface rippling with frequencies of prosperity and freedom.

See yourself lifting your own jug pouring fresh clear water into the pool before you.

As your water joins the flow abundance becomes limitless unrestricted by past wounds.

Feel the energy shift a deep cleansing taking place within your very being.

Silently or aloud affirm Together we have released all financial fear scarcity and blockages.

We forgive ourselves and those who came before us.

Abundance now flows through us unobstructed and infinite.

Oh my ancestors you have now blessed me your descendant.

Together we have released the karma of financial imbalance.

This poverty consciousness is now cleansed and cleared across all dimensions,

Planes and lifetimes for eternity.

Visualize yourself in a future where abundance is natural and effortless.

See yourself making decisions from a place of trust,

Generosity and ease.

Money flows in and out like the tides always replenishing.

Notice how it feels to be free from fear.

To stand in your power as a co-creator of your financial reality.

And affirm money is a sacred energy a force of good in my life.

I receive and share it with wisdom and love.

And now turn to your ancestors.

Thank you for answering my call and helping me end this cycle.

The pool is full.

The obstacles are gone.

And abundance now flows freely.

My life has shifted as a result.

All my needs are always met.

There is always enough.

I spend money freely and wisely knowing that the stream of abundance is always flowing.
