Listen to the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
She is your greater body.
She is the one that holds you from the moment that you are born.
You have eons and eons of ancestors that have walked this planet.
That have tuned into this beautiful greater body of planet Earth that is a spaceship hurtling through space.
Take a moment and imagine that you are standing in front of a vast forest.
It stretches as far as the eye can see.
And you are in a meadow.
This meadow leads straight into the heart of the forest that is before you.
And you can see the flowers around you.
You can see the bees.
And in the distance you see deer grazing.
And you take a deep breath in and you feel the warmth of the sun upon your back.
You feel the wind whistling around you.
And you begin to walk towards the forest.
And as you get to the forest you take your shoes off because you know that trees are holy.
And you walk in and feel yourself surrounded by the coolness and the dampness of the forest floor.
Decaying.
And you keep walking.
And you stop for a moment to listen to the birds.
And up ahead you see a little stream flowing.
And you can hear the water.
Nearby is a log.
And you take yourself there and you sit down.
And you begin relaxing so deeply.
Some deep in-breaths.
And you find yourself melting.
Melting into the earth.
Through the layer of roots and mycelium and fungi and dampness.
And you feel yourself dropping deeper.
Into Mother Earth.
And deeper and deeper you go and you trail your hands along the deep,
Deep roots of the tall trees.
And you smell the freshness of the ground.
And you travel deeper.
And deeper.
As you melt.
As you melt.
Into the consciousness of Mother Earth.
And you get into the center of the warmth of the belly.
And your heartbeat is one.
And you look around you.
And all the beings of the earth.
The human races.
The four-footed ones.
The flying ones.
The creeping ones.
The fish.
The swimming ones.
The plants.
The medicine herbs.
The clouds.
The moon.
The stars.
The sun.
The water.
The fire.
Wind.
Stone.
Are all in a spiral around you.
For all the gifts of creation.
And you become one.
And you realize you're not separate.
And you take this into your consciousness.
And hold this in your heart.
As you find yourself rising.
Rising,
Rising.
To touch the roots.
To move through the fungi.
And back into the dampness of the forest floor.
Of you sitting against a log.
You have never been separate.
It's a mind's construct that has been forced on you.
You can now stand up and you stand with a great reverence.
As you walk along the pathway.
Out of the forest.
And we ask ourselves.
When did we become disconnected from this natural world?
And what do we consider this to be?
