Hello everyone,

I'm the Reverend Taz Two Clothes Flying from Right Relations School of Transformation.

I am delighted to be here today to talk about a topic that is very close to my heart,

Eco-spirituality.

As someone who is deeply connected to nature and committed to a spiritual growth,

I find eco-spirituality to be a beautiful and transformative path.

It's all about deepening our connection with the natural world and recognizing the sacredness in every aspect of it.

In essence,

It's about fostering a harmonious relationship between our spiritual well-being and the health of our planet.

It encourages us to live with intention,

Respect and gratitude for the world around us.

By embracing this path,

We can cultivate a deeper connection with nature,

Experience profound healing and contribute towards the creation of a more sustainable and loving world.

To me,

Eco-spirituality means understanding that everything is interconnected and that we are part of a larger living ecosystem.

This perspective helps us see the divine in nature and understand our role in protecting and nurturing the environment.

It's about recognizing that our well-being is intimately tied to the health of the planet and that by honoring and caring for the earth,

We are also caring for ourselves.

When I practice this,

I find myself more in tune with the rhythms of the earth.

There's something incredibly grounding and healing about taking mindful walks in the forest,

Meditating by a flowing stream or simply observing the changing seasons.

These practices help me feel a profound sense of peace and connection,

Reminding me of the beauty and the wisdom that nature holds.

It's in these moments that I truly feel the presence of the divine and experience a deep sense of gratitude.

This relationship with nature not only brings inner harmony,

But also inspires me to live more sustainably.

By being mindful of my impact on the environment and making choices that honor the earth,

I'm able to live in a way that is more aligned with my spiritual values.

Simple acts like reducing waste,

Conserving resources and supporting eco-friendly initiatives become meaningful spiritual practices when viewed through the lens of eco-spirituality.

I hope that this introduction has inspired you to explore your own connection with nature and to consider the ways in which you can incorporate this beautiful practice in your life.

I'm now going to lead you on a guided meditation to meet your ecological self.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.

You can sit or lie down,

Whatever feels best for you.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.

As you listen,

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment,

Letting go of any distractions or worries.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine yourself disappearing from the space and standing at the edge of a beautiful lush forest.

The air is fresh and filled with the scent of pine and earth.

You feel a gentle breeze on your skin and you can hear the soft rustling of leaves and the distant song of birds.

Take a moment to look around and notice the vibrant colors and textures of the trees,

Plants and flowers.

Feel the ground beneath your feet,

Solid and supportive.

This forest is a safe and sacred space,

A place where you can connect deeply with nature and your true self.

Now,

As you step forward into the forest,

Feel yourself becoming more grounded and connected with each step.

With every breath,

You draw in the life force of the earth and feel this coming up through the rocks and sand.

Allow the wonderful sound of the forest to calm your mind and bring you into a deep state of relaxation.

Imagine that as you breathe in,

You are drawing in the essence of the forest,

Filling your lungs with its energy and wisdom,

And releasing any tension or negativity.

Let yourself dissolve this into the earth.

Feel yourself becoming more attuned to the natural world as you breathe deeper,

Imagining that you're beginning to emerge and merge with the earth,

That your roots are growing deep into the soil,

Connecting you with the life-giving energy of the planet.

You are part of this ecosystem and it is part of you.

Begin to become aware of a presence approaching.

This bright being is your ecological self,

That part of you that is deeply connected.

They are wise,

Loving,

And deeply attuned to the rhythms of the natural world.

The natural world.

Take a moment and invite this being to come closer and observe their presence.

It may be as an image,

A feeling,

Or a sensation.

Trust whatever comes to yourself.

Now,

Allow yourself to have a conversation with your ecological self.

Ask them what they want to share with you,

What wisdom they have for you.

Listen deeply and with an open heart,

Trusting that whatever you receive is exactly what you receive is exactly what you need in this moment.

I will give you a few minutes to enjoy this connection.

Absorb the wisdom and the guidance of your ecological self.

Feel the love that exists between you and this being and the natural world and know that this connection is always there.

A source of strength and inspiration that you can tap into whenever you need it.

When you walk away from this meditation,

I want you to truly go into a space of where you can deeply connect.

Thank the self for its presence and wisdom.

And now,

Look deeply into their eyes and feel the soul connection.

And invite them to merge with your body as a beautiful,

Bright being,

This ancient self that has actually never left you.

You are an eco-conscious being merged with this greater self that is Mother Earth.

Feel the connection within your heart.

Feel this growing within your body,

Glowing,

Filling you with a vitality that you know that you've been missing.

Bring yourself slowly to this present moment and know that you're now at one with this being and you will never leave this moment ever again.

When you're ready,

Know that you carry the forest,

The ground,

The air,

The fire within you,

And the waters of the world,

And the knowledge of your ancestral self.

And carrying the peace and wisdom of this meditation with you into your day.

And bring yourself to the present moment.

Releasing your breath and blessing yourself.

Thank you for joining me in this meditation.

May you continue to feel the depth and the love that exists between you and Mother Earth.

And know you are always guided when you drop into your true self.
