Welcome to your sacred practice.
The meditation upon which you are about to embark is to bring in a deep calm relaxation and serenity.
A state that is optimal for just about any time of day or night.
The serene state that helps us to focus our life force energy for tasks or intuitive insight.
For being with our loved ones truly for any purpose of the life.
The state of serenity is a highly efficient,
Wonderfully focused and very healthy way to start.
And so let us begin by deepening the breath.
Just becoming very mindful of the breath and allowing it to become slower,
Fuller,
Richer,
More connected,
More abundant.
With a deeper inhale and receiving of this sustaining element of air and a fuller release emptying.
Blending out the vessel so as to begin fresh,
To begin anew on each cycle of breath.
And each intention that we include in this sacred work of breathing can be woven in and called in to the mindful state.
And adding if you like to your breathing,
The pondering of how pleasant it is to draw in breath.
And perhaps you notice that it is very satisfying to exhale.
And now let's just take a moment to do a scan of the physical body while continuing to allow that breath to be deep and easy and also very natural for your pacing.
And scan the body however seems right.
If you go from an awareness from head to toe,
Toe to head,
Or just moving all around the body with the awareness.
And now as if you are observing your form like a consciousness outside.
See sense or just tune into any areas of the body that may be holding a little more tension than others.
And very easily,
Objectively,
Neutrally,
Without any kind of judgement,
Just notice if there is tension in one area or another or another.
It's more than one,
Just hold a general awareness.
And now imagine that this slow and easy breath is like a magic wand that you can just send to those areas where there may be a little more tension or a lot more tension.
And really like an affirmation as you send the breathing to that or those areas where there is tension.
Forming your energy that this magic of the breath can release,
Relax that tension.
And notice if a particular area that you identify would like to become more calm or more relaxed.
I'll let you decide.
Your communication with your body and your energy is just right.
You are the expert of your being.
And if you have all of the tools that you need to bring a deeper state of calm or relaxation,
If you have all of these tools,
I wonder what that would feel like.
Imagine if all of these tools came online and in one or two breaths now,
All of the tension that is not useful to you in this very moment are easily released.
And so take a breath or two just affirming the tension that is not helpful to you at this time is easily released with these slow and easy breaths.
And for some,
This may bring a sensation of lightness of being.
For another,
It may send a sort of chill,
A tingling or warmth.
Notice what you notice as your body and your mental and emotional energy come into a more serene,
Calm and relaxed space.
And to deepen this serenity,
You're now invited to visualize or imagine or have a sense of lying back on a spot of nature,
Grass,
Sand,
Any kind of natural space of earth.
And it is a lovely day.
It's very comfortable to lie back on the earth.
The temperature is just right.
Perhaps it even fluctuates in all the ways that are your favorite ways.
The breeze and the aroma,
The sights and sounds of this lovely day,
Lying so peacefully back on the earth.
This may direct you to your heart.
As you're lying on the earth,
Your heart may be connecting with the heartbeat of the earth.
There is a harmony and a synchronization,
So natural.
And on this lovely day,
There is a presentation of clouds,
Beautiful,
Peaceful clouds.
And as you gaze up into the clouds,
You may feel inspiration.
You may feel peace and a deepening of that serene state.
The formations that the clouds make,
The glistening of the sunlight,
The color of the sky,
The harmonious heartbeat between you and the earth.
And just take this wonderful space to absorb well-being,
Harmony,
Peace and clarity.
And any thoughts or concerns or tension just easily blow away like clouds as clouds are changing shapes and forms.
Those are just lovely collections of air and water,
Just a part of being the sky.
And spend as long as you like here,
Just soaking in the well-being and the serenity.
And at a certain point when you feel that you've made a wonderful connection like a friendship to this place,
Just allow it to become sort of solid.
Solid as a state of imagery that helps to communicate the serenity,
Organize your energy in a mindful and peaceful way.
And like any lovely day,
You may become a time where you would sit up feeling so satisfied and continue about another part of the day or night.
And so in a moment you are welcome to take another big deep breath,
Matching and modeling your energy to this place to recall when you need it.
And on a long exhale,
Maybe time to sit up and begin the next part of your day or night.
And what a wonderful way to begin the next part of your day with this deep serenity,
With this deep calm relaxation and perhaps a gentle kind of inspiration.
