This morning meditation will set the tone of your day. You will calm the mind by focusing on your breath, and use visualization to explore your values and intentions for the day. The meditation ends with positive emotion priming to set you up for success in creating and maintaining a purposeful life and stable mood.

Hello and good morning.

My name is Tracy and this is your magic morning meditation Let's begin by finding the most comfortable position for your body allow yourself to come into the present moment and Find a position for right now That meets all of your needs you might Stay in bed.

You might sit up and the most important thing is that you are attuning to yourself That you are staying present to meet your own needs Let's begin with an intention breathe into your whole body and feel Your whole body respond to your breath and then bring to mind your intention for today you might long for peacefulness clarity a stable mood whatever you're looking for affirm it to yourself right now in The present tense as if it is happening repeat your intention Three times using exactly the same words and from here.

We'll begin to notice the breath allow your attention to focus on On the breath as it moves in and out Through the nose or the mouth Use your awareness to follow the breath into the throat Allow your chest and back body to expand Three-dimensionally as you breathe in and as you breathe out as you focus on the sensation of Breathing as you anchor your attention to your breath Notice that your mind Gets quieter or still and as you notice that stillness Soften into it embrace it recognizing the power that you hold your ability to Use your breath to settle your mind as you continue to watch your slow steady breathing By focusing all of your awareness on your breath You settle the mind and now visualize a Pond and notice as things become very still you can start to see to the depths You begin to Glimpse what lies beneath the waters when they're still and now visualize a beautiful forest with light Shining through the trees and if you can imagine the forest becoming very still the wind Dying down notice what you become aware of know that this is just Like your mind as your mind becomes more still as we anchor the attention to the breath What's revealed?

Is the depths of our yearnings our longings?

Our wishes and our dreams in that stillness if your mind has begun to wander simply bring it back to Focusing on your breath Watching your breath as it moves in through the nose Out through the nose in a rhythm that is as old as time and as your mind stills And you glimpse the depths that live inside of you reflect on the values that Are most important in guiding your day if we can make every decision With our values front and center we begin to live a life that is Truly purposeful and meaningful for each and every one of us.

Is it patience?

Integrity kindness Reaffirm to yourself the way that you want to show up Today,

What are the parts of your life that are most important for you to attend to today?

Is it your work your family your personal health your spirituality?

Your Relationships,

Is there any part of your life that today especially?

Needs your attention your Attunement reaffirm that for yourself right now and then reflect on the barriers or obstacles the things that normally get in your way the aspects of your life that interfere with your motivation or Induce procrastination what can help you move around or over those obstacles?

Today and we'll move into positive emotion priming bring to mind right now the memory of Something joyful it can be very simple like holding a child's hand or laughing Whatever memory you bring to mind allow yourself to Swim in the details of it tune into that memory with all of your senses sight taste touch Hearing tune into that memory with all that you are and allow your body and mind to be flooded with the sensation of Joy with that feeling of joy in your mind body with your awareness of what's really important to you re Affirm your intention for your day today and like a very personal mantra for your soul Repeat it three times using Exactly the same words and then allow your awareness to Center Once again on your breath breathing in and breathing out silently Thank yourself for practicing today Remind yourself that you are Enough exactly as you are and that you are deeply connected To yourself and all of the humans around you.
