Welcome.
Welcome to a short and sweet meditation to help you connect to the love within you.
Just the fact that you've shown up in this moment for this meditation is an act of self-love.
So please take a moment right now just to honor yourself and be grateful.
You already love yourself.
Sometimes though we're judgmental with ourselves.
We're humans after all.
We're going to access a deeper place within where we're pure love.
So let's get comfortable seated or lying down eyes closed or open.
And when you're ready take a long deep breath in.
Gently release your breath and allow yourself just to relax.
And then again a long smooth breath in.
Letting go of any tension as you exhale and just feel your body land in this moment.
And then allow your body to do the breathing for you.
It knows how.
It's gotten you this far thankfully.
And this body of yours that you're sometimes judgmental of deserves your love.
This body of yours is different right now in this moment than it was when you took those two breaths.
The body's continuously shifting and changing and aging and renewing.
And as we go through life our body is always changing.
Different now than it was a moment ago,
Or many years ago.
Let's be grateful that it brought us here.
And as you sit here and observe how your body feels and allow it to do the breathing for you.
I'd like you just internally repeat a simple phrase.
I am your first name and then your last name.
So I would say I am Tracy Goldman.
And just internally repeating I am first name last name to yourself and noticing what images or feelings arise.
This is the present version of you.
How you identify with yourself in the world around you.
And now we'll change the phrase slightly.
Next I'd like you to internally and silently repeat the phrase I am and just your first name dropping the last name entirely.
So I would say I am Tracy.
And just notice what images or feelings arise.
This is commonly a younger version of you.
And now we'll change it again.
This time I'd like you to silently and internally repeat the phrase I am love dropping your name entirely.
I am love.
See at our core at our essence we are all pure love.
And if you travel back in time and space from this present moment to when you were young.
And then back to when you were a very small child.
Before the age of five when ego identity set in.
When you were that young you were pure love.
You didn't judge you didn't think about the past or the future.
You were present curious alive pure and innocent.
You can conjure up in your mind's eye an image or maybe it's a picture you've seen of yourself at that age if you don't remember.
And just feeling into how it was to be that innocent pure being.
This is your inner child.
I am love.
You can continue to silently repeat that phrase if it helps you or you can drop the silent repetition and just connect to that part of you that's everlasting that hasn't changed as your physical body has.
But that's always within you.
Your essence your purity.
And allowing that love within you to fill your heart.
To fill your awareness.
Allow yourself just to be in that pure love and settle into it sit with it.
Experience it any feelings or images that arise from it.
I am love.
Your mind comes back into this present ego identity.
Just drop back again.
To your inner child.
I am love.
They're always with you.
That love that you feel within.
Fill your heart and lungs as you inhale next.
And just relax into that feeling.
Knowing that you've now connected and carried this version of yourself this inner child.
With you back into this present moment in time.
And although your body is always changing.
That part of you never does.
Let's take a moment here and now to be grateful for this connection.
Grateful for the love that we have in our hearts.
Breathe in gratitude.
Relax as you exhale.
Feel free to sit longer or allow your eyes to reopen if they were closed.
And maybe the next time that you look into your own eyes or other people's eyes you can see deeply into their inner child.
Your own inner child.
The one that is always there.
That doesn't change with the physical changes.
And in that way we bring more love into the world with us and into ourselves.
Each and every day.
Namaste.
Thank you so much.
I love you.
