Transcript

Sit or lie down comfortably.

Let your arms rest heavily where they naturally fall.

Make sure you are undistracted.

Close your eyes and turn your attention to your breathing.

Drop your shoulders and feel how your body relaxes more and more with each breath.

Inhale deeply.

While you exhale,

Notice how the muscles in your body relax completely.

Take another deep breath.

Hold it in for a moment.

Then exhale slowly.

Let your muscles relax even further.

Let your breathing flow freely and easily how it's all accord.

Now follow your breath as you inhale.

Feel it flowing into your body and exhale slowly.

Your shoulders have dropped from your neck.

Your body is calm and relaxed.

You are here and now.

Move your attention over to your body.

Can you feel any tightness or tension?

Lead your breath into the place you are holding tension.

Send the tightness out with your breath.

Breathe in peace and calm.

Find out tension,

Stress and brain buzz.

You are sitting in a meadow.

You had to come here to get a break.

You need that now.

You need air and space in your head.

Perhaps you have a lot of thoughts lately.

Thoughts that just churn and churn.

Thoughts that control your daily life that give you stress and negative emotions in your body.

Focus now on the thoughts that are churning in your head.

Let your thoughts of worry and stress become clouds in the sky.

Feel the clouds with all your worried thoughts.

Perhaps there are more and more clouds in the sky as you make your thoughts into clouds.

Some clouds are small,

Others are big.

Some are light and feathery,

Others are heavy and dark.

Either way,

They are made of thoughts,

Brain buzz,

Worry and stress you don't want to carry.

When you have placed everything you no longer want to carry with you,

Look at the clouds and watch them glide away,

Further and further away from you.

You want a sky with fewer and fewer clouds.

Sit and watch the clouds start disappearing on the horizon.

They are moving further and further away from you.

The sky has fewer and fewer clouds and a blue color grows clearer and clearer.

The sky represents peace,

Calm and harmony.

If you think the clouds are moving too slowly,

Use your breath to blow them away.

Focus your breath on the clouds.

With a light breath,

The clouds speed up and move away from you even faster.

The sun warms your face.

You have a cloudless sky above you.

Your body is calm and relaxed and your mind is as clear as a mountain stream.

Feel this sensation in your body.

Enjoy this moment with a cloudless sky,

A light and free mind,

Light and free breathing.

Your head is light and free and is thinking good thoughts,

Thoughts that give you happiness and energy.

The thoughts manifest as good feelings in your body and you are doing good deeds.

How does the feeling,

The calm and bring it with you into the day?

Start by moving your fingers and toes and return to the present moment.

Feel the cloudless sky above you.

Wow this is the first meditation in many months ...and I listen to meditations here on Insight Timer every morning religiously...
