The ancient Buddhas,
Rishis,
And seers proclaimed,
Know thyself and thou shalt know the universe.
Therefore,
The secret to long-lasting growth,
Change,
And self-realization resides in the exploration and the transformation of the unknown depths of our minds.
In order to attain this self-realization and to experience transcendental states of meditation,
It's essential to develop the ability to witness and cleanse the subconscious mind.
This purification process will allow you to unleash and awaken the full potential of your mind,
And it will assist you to tap into a pure,
High evolved state of consciousness to guide you on your life's journey.
Once this process occurs,
We unlock the doorway to the higher realms of our being and to the discovery of our true potential.
This great adventure to self-illumination and liberation is the pinnacle of our human evolution and is the greatest journey we will ever partake in.
In order for us to partake in this great adventure,
In this meditation practice,
We will practice a unique meditation technique called saksidhyan.
Saksidhyan meditation is specifically designed to help you to develop the ability to tap into the eternal witness called sakshi in Sanskrit.
Sakshi is translated as the observer,
The eyewitness,
Or the supreme being,
Your atma,
Your pure individual consciousness.
By practicing saksidhyan meditation,
You will develop the ability to dissociate and detach and to sit more comfortably with whatever you are experiencing in your meditation practice and your life without being caught up in any unpleasant feelings of identification.
It will assist you to develop a greater understanding of any unhelpful thinking processes and emotions so you can release and purify the subconscious mind of their emotional charge.
Saksidhyan will help you to tap into that inner resource,
That powerful safe haven within you where you experience feelings of security,
Well-being,
And calm.
And in this natural grounded state,
You will develop the ability to make better decisions through the higher abilities,
The intuitive wisdom,
And the higher intelligence of viveka,
Higher knowledge,
Right understanding,
And intuitive wisdom,
So you can live a happier,
Healthier,
More fulfilling life.
So let's go on this journey.
Just start by sitting in a comfortable meditation posture or a chair.
Make sure your body is absolutely comfortable,
Using any props,
So you can sit at ease.
And we will start this meditation practice by just simple,
Eight diaphragmatic breaths.
Just breathing in for a count of four,
Six,
Or eight.
Just gentle diaphragmatic inhalation,
And then exhaling,
Using the diaphragm out through the nose for the same duration.
We'll just take eight easy diaphragmatic breaths,
Feeling peace and calmness flowing into your body as you take a gentle diaphragmatic breath.
And as you exhale,
Just feel the peace and calmness flowing throughout your body for eight breaths now.
Perfect.
And as you're maintaining awareness of your breath,
Next,
Just guide your awareness outside of your body and see your body from a distance.
Imagine that you're looking back at your body reflected back in a full length mirror from the front.
Shift the mirror to the right side.
See your body reflected back from the right side.
Shift your mirror to the back of the body.
See your body from the back.
Then the left side.
The top.
And then just imagine that that mirror is just shifting around the body and see your body in a three-dimensional way.
Perfect.
Awareness back to the physical body now.
Just become aware of your whole body,
Your whole body,
Seated comfortably and grounded in your meditation posture.
And then next,
We will go on a little journey around the body.
Just become aware of the body parts as I call them out.
Just observe them in a detached way and just move from body part to body part,
Just becoming aware of the right foot,
Left foot,
The right leg,
The left leg,
The sitting bones.
Hips.
The front of the tummy and the chest.
The lower back.
Upper back.
Right shoulder.
Left shoulder.
Right arm.
Right hand.
Left arm.
Left hand.
Back of the head.
Top of the head.
The forehead.
Eyes.
Nose.
Mouth and the lips.
Then the whole head.
Whole right arm.
Whole left arm.
Both arms together.
The whole trunk.
Whole right leg.
Whole left leg.
Both legs together.
Then your whole body,
Your whole body.
The whole head.
The whole body,
Your whole body.
Just become aware of your whole body from the base of your meditation posture to the top of the head.
Perfect,
You're doing great.
Next,
We just start to experience sounds.
And once again,
We're not analyzing the sounds.
Just move from sound to sound.
Just notice that you are hearing the sounds and your ears are the physical component of this auditory experience.
Notice that your ears are part of the physical body and it is experiencing the sounds.
And just move from sound to sound for the next few moments.
And then next,
Notice that the sounds are separate to your ears,
Your physical body.
This is the second component of this auditory experience.
Your ears are part of the physical body.
Hearing the sounds,
But the sounds are separate.
Okay,
Perfect.
Now the next step.
As you're observing the sounds,
Notice that once again there's a third component of this auditory experience.
That is the witness of the sounds.
The silent,
Peaceful,
Calm witness of the sounds.
It's separate to your ears.
It's separate to the sounds.
Become aware and tune in to your wise,
Calm,
Grounded self.
That is the seer,
The observer,
The witness of the sounds.
As you're focusing on your breath for the next eight breaths.
Okay,
Perfect.
Next.
Just guide your awareness to your breathing process.
And then the physical component of your breathing process.
Notice the respiratory system.
The lungs and the diaphragm and the nostrils.
Notice the physical component that is part of your body.
That is breathing in air or energy.
Just the physical dimension now for the next few moments.
And then notice that the breath is not just a sound.
The air that is entering the respiratory system,
The prana,
Is different,
A separate component to the physical body.
For the next few moments.
Your physical body is breathing in the air.
It is a separate component.
The air is coming in.
It is separate to the physical body.
And then next notice that there is once again a third component.
That is witnessing the breath.
Witnessing the energy.
Just tap into this third component of this meditative experience.
That is watching and observing the breath.
This is your higher self.
Your sakshi,
Atma,
Your soul that is a witness of the breath.
And for the next 20 breaths continue with this practice.
Okay,
Well done.
You have been practicing sakshi dhyan meditation to tune into your wise,
Calm,
Grounded,
Higher self that is a witness of the mind.
The more you practice this technique,
The more you'll notice the purification of your mind as emotional charge of past events relinquish the energetic charge,
Allowing your subconscious mind to purify and cleanse,
Paving the way for it to awaken so it can focus on more empowering positive thoughts and outcomes,
Focused on a brighter future,
So you can become the creator of your destiny.
The creator of your destiny and live a more healthier,
Happier,
Successful life.
So we'll slowly get ready to transition back to the physical body.
Just tuning back in to become aware of the physical body,
Seated in your meditation posture.
Keeping the eyes closed,
Just gradually become aware of your surroundings,
The room you're in,
The walls,
The ceiling,
And then back to the space you're in,
Where you're practicing.
Just give yourself time,
Become aware of the sounds in the room,
And then returning refreshed,
Revitalized with awareness that at any time you can access and tap into your wise,
Calm,
Grounded,
Higher self for purification and transformation of your mind.
Great work.
It's time to complete the meditation practice.
Take care.
See you soon.
