
Guided Practice For Relaxation And Healing

This meditation will help you relax and ground but also offers a powerful healing experience. I hope that listeners will fully release all tension to better setup for a new day or sleep. There are tools within that can be used anytime or anywhere. Enjoy!

Thank you for joining me today in meditation.
Let's start by focusing on our breath.
We'll breathe in through our nose and out through our nose.
And as we breathe,
Just noticing our belly rising and falling,
Our sides and our chest moving with the flow of the breath.
Expand and collapse the breath with as little effort as possible,
Allowing the breath to become a natural,
Organic feeling,
A sensation of life within you.
Now let's take our breath and check our body for any tension and start with your face,
Your jaw,
Your forehead,
Your temples.
And look at your shoulders,
Your neck.
And if you feel any tension in these areas,
Bring this beautiful breath that you are developing into these areas and just let that breath tumble and swirl and take with the exhale all that is not serving you out.
With the inhale,
Feel that beautiful new nurturing energy coming in and going to the areas of tension.
And with the exhale,
Releasing all the tension.
Now check your back,
Upper back,
Middle back,
Lower back.
Check your side bodies from your armpits down to your hips,
Your abdomen.
And again,
Release anything that is being held,
Any tension,
Any gripping.
Just relax.
Now let's check our shoulders again and our arms,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Hands and fingers.
Just feeling and noticing anything could be as simple as just a bit of air running between your fingers,
Releasing all tension from these areas.
Letting your body breathe with your breath from the top of your head,
Down through your neck,
Your torso,
Your arms.
Now we'll look for any tension in our hips,
Our legs,
Our knees,
Our calves,
Ankles or feet.
And if you feel anything,
Once again take your breath there.
Use the breath,
The breath you are developing now as a tool to sweep and flow energy into the areas and releasing on the exhale,
Feel all the tension in your legs and feet disappear.
Coming back to your breath,
Feeling the breath settle even more.
You feel like you are one with the breath.
Every part of your body,
Every cell is calm now and relaxed.
Now imagine your feet are on a beautiful green grassy lawn and your feet are just sinking right into this beautiful grass.
The blades of grass are coming up behind your heel,
At the sides of your feet,
Around your toes.
And you are feeling so much comfort and connection with this grass,
This beautiful lawn.
Just sense the grounding potential of the weight of your feet sitting on this lawn.
Sense what might be as the grounding starts to take you deeper.
You feel below the grass now into the soil,
Into the roots of the plants and trees.
You sense deeper than that,
You sense into the rocks and stones below that.
And as you travel down into the earth,
You feel all of the energy of Gaia Mother Earth.
And this energy is powerful and your feet now feel fully grounded,
Almost like they are magnetized or part of the lawn.
Just let that sensation completely encompass your feet and now your legs up to your hips,
Up through your torso and down through your arms,
Into your neck and head.
And as you breathe,
Feel completely grounded in your body,
Solid and connected with Mother Earth.
Take a few breaths here to establish the sensation of being grounded.
Now that we've established this grounded feeling,
This grounded potential,
Let's take our awareness to the top of our head.
And through the top of our head,
What we're going to do is sense straight up,
Straight up into the heavens.
And we're going to make a connection with the divine light of the heavens and just like a beam or a beacon,
This light will come down and this light will come down through the top of our head,
Through our neck,
Through our throat and into our chest.
And it will stop at our heart space,
Meeting and melding with the grounded potential we have just established from Mother Earth.
And as these two energies meet,
The sensation of each of their strengths is magnified.
And we feel this warmth now in the heart center.
We feel this beautiful energy spinning and flowing like a sphere or a globe.
This could be white light for you.
This could have a golden color to it now.
Just feel the warmth,
Feel the beauty of this golden white light amassing in your chest and expanding.
And as you take your awareness there and as you breathe,
Feel the globe grow larger and larger and larger.
Feel the sphere expand well beyond the capacity of your chest or abdomen.
And feel the energy from the sphere flowing into your legs,
Up into your shoulders and down through your arms.
Feel this globe expand further again.
Feel the warmth,
The power and the healing potential.
Feel every cell in your body responding,
Knowing that this beautiful golden energy is here to offer healing and abundance to you.
Feel the energy in your chest as though it were the size of a beach ball.
And if you could hold this energy in your hands,
It would feel incredibly light.
But at the same time it would have a sensation of brilliance and of power.
As you feel this globe of energy inside of you,
Know that this energy is you.
And it can be brought anytime you need it.
Simply by relaxing,
Taking several deep breaths,
Feeling the grounding potential with Mother Earth,
Reaching up to the heavens and bringing down this light,
White light.
And then combining the two in your heart space and expanding it into any part of your body or all of your body and allowing through intention to be healed in any way you need to be.
So you see when you are in this state of deep relaxation and holding on to this globe of golden white energy,
You can move it into a shoulder,
Into a knee,
Into a foot.
And with your breath and intention,
Create your own powerful and unique healing.
