Thank you for joining me in meditation today.
Today's meditation is going to be broken up into two parts.
The first part is going to be some breath work and we'll get to that in just a second.
And the second part of the meditation is going to be a deep healing straight from the heart.
And when you're working from the energy of the heart I think there isn't too much you can't do.
So I really hope you guys get into that part of the meditation.
But we're going to start with some breath work.
And the breath work we're going to do today is the five second breath.
So that means a five second inhale followed by a five second exhale.
Now the reason we're doing this breath is because it was discovered a number of years ago that with the five second breath done in repetition and we'll be doing 21 cycles of this breath today.
It actually alters the cerebral spinal fluid cycle into a delta wave frequency.
Now the reason we want to have the cerebral spinal fluid cycle in a delta wave frequency is because in this state we can do dramatic healing.
We can also dramatically enhance our resting state and our sleep state.
So there will be a portion of this meditation where you can actually drop off and have a rest or drop off to a good night's sleep.
Alright so let's get started with the breath cycle and after that we'll go into the healing.
So I'm going to guide you through the breath cycle,
The five second breath.
You will just follow along and not to worry if you can't do a full five seconds.
Four seconds is fine.
The accuracy behind this is not as important as allowing the breath to really deepen and for you to really become that state,
Become the breath.
Okay so I'm going to start counting and just follow along.
Inhale two three four five.
Exhale two three four five.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Exhale.
You've just finished 25 cycles of breath.
Continue to breathe and relax.
Good job.
We're now done the breath work and we'll move on to the next portion of the meditation.
So we'll be using this relaxed state to either start a nap during the day,
Fall asleep at bedtime or for the majority of the work in this meditation,
Doing some deep and profound healing.
So if you are ready for a short nap during your day,
Start to relax into your napping state.
Know that you will awaken at the appropriate time,
Feeling refreshed and revitalized.
If you are ready to sleep at bedtime,
Continue this breath and allow your conscious world to start shutting down.
Feel the deep rest of a night's sleep come over you,
Allowing and giving permission to sleep deeply and fully.
Know that you will awaken at the appropriate time,
Feeling refreshed and in perfect health and ready to start an amazing new day.
Now I will offer a short healing session.
Continue to breathe gently,
Easily and deeply.
Feel your mind relax and empty of all thought.
Now let's bring our thought,
Our focus and our attention to our heart space,
Directly in the middle of our chest.
Breathe into your heart,
Letting this area expand.
Feel your heart grow.
Feel this area warm as it expands.
You may even see or sense colors as you breathe.
It would certainly be possible to see pink or red,
Violets or purple,
Green or blue.
But if you are not seeing this,
Do not worry.
You are in a perfect space,
Just like all of us.
Continue to feel your heart expand and warm.
Now we are going to focus healing through our heart.
My example will be different from yours as you will focus where healing is needed.
Here are a few examples.
You can heal parts of your body.
You can heal organs.
You can heal systems like the nervous system,
The endocrine system,
The hormonal system or you can heal brain function.
The list is endless.
I am going to focus on pain or discomfort in the wrist and hand.
Once you have established the area of the body or system you would like to heal,
Set this aside,
Come back to your breath and breathe deeply,
Expanding the energy here.
Keeping in mind that the heart can be one of the most powerful healing potentials within our human experience.
Breathe deeply and bring your attention to your heart.
Feel it expand and warm your entire chest and upper torso.
Now you will bring whatever you are healing into this heart energy or you can send this energy to whatever needs to be healed.
If you are healing outside the physical area you are in,
This is a remote healing,
You will send heart energy there.
Continue to focus strongly on your heart energy,
Bringing as much love as you can to the heart.
Watch what you are healing be fully surrounded in this powerful loving energy.
Sense the healing underway.
Feel this warm and powerful heart energy bathing what is being healed.
Feel the heat and warming.
Notice the colors working in this field.
Sense the vibration of energy moving.
You may even hear sounds.
As you focus on cultivating this loving energy,
Sense newness coming in as a healed response.
For example,
If you are healing pain,
Feel the pain diminish.
Feel the energy opening up.
Feel recovery.
Notice a totally different experience in these areas.
Sense and know that you are fully healed and know your fully healed outcome.
Start to notice the difference,
Releasing all energetic patterns that might be holding this condition in place.
Let everything that is not wanted or needed be in this powerful and loving heart energy.
See and feel everything relax and align to the energy here in your heart space.
You may wish to stay longer if you think your healing is finished.
Let the energy of your heart wash across your entire body and out through all of your energetic fields.
Cleaning and clearing,
Leaving a wonderful warm and loving sensation everywhere it travels.
Now come back to the breath,
Allowing for more control and expansion within your chest.
As you feel the warmth of this heart energy dissipate slightly,
Start to feel your body.
Feel your cells and muscles.
Feel bone.
Feel density.
Feel heaviness.
Feel gravity on your body.
Now bring in gentle movement.
Bring in movement to your head and neck,
Your shoulders and arms,
Your torso and hips,
Your legs and feet.
Slightly move your wrists and fingers,
Your ankles,
Your feet and toes.
Come back fully into your body,
Feeling rested and aware.
Take your time as you get moving.
Feel and enjoy the healing and peace you have created.
Know that you can come back and repeat this practice anytime.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Thank you for joining me today.
Namaste.
