Good day.

Thank you for joining me in meditation.

Today's meditation is going to be maybe a bit more interactive than normal.

What it's going to be is a body scan with a bit of hands-on healing.

So let's get started.

First of all,

Let's find our breath and breathe deeply.

Big breath in and then let it out.

Two more times.

And let your breath out.

Letting go of the day's events.

One more time.

And out.

Perfect.

Now,

As I said,

This was going to be a bit more interactive,

But it doesn't have to be.

So as we scan the body,

What I'd like to do with you guys today is to actually have you place your hands on different parts of the body.

And at the same time,

We'll be doing a little bit of healing within the parts of the body,

The physical body that we're working on.

So it's your choice.

You can do it intentionally.

Visualize the hands there.

I really like doing it this way myself periodically because it really gives you that feeling of knowing of what's going on in your physical bodies.

So let's get started.

And the first thing I'd like to do is get you to take your hands and just ever so lightly rub them together.

You have to rub them vigorously because the energy points in our hands are really quite sensitive.

So here we go.

Rub our hands together.

Now we're going to take our hands and we're just going to hold them two or three inches apart.

Just focus on the hands and focus on the space between the hands and allow the energy to come into that space.

Yeah,

It's coming in really well here.

Should be for you as well.

Okay.

So we're ready to start.

Continue to breathe deeply.

Breathe into this nice,

Relaxed space we're creating for ourselves.

Now the first place we're going to go to is our right foot.

So find a way to get to your right foot so that you have one hand on the bottom and one hand on the top of the foot.

Just covering the toes.

Just rub your hands across the bottom of your foot,

Across the top of your foot,

Behind the heel,

Up around the ankle,

Up behind the Achilles tendon at the back of the foot.

Just give it a nice little,

Almost like a light massage.

Now take your hands,

Both of your hands,

And we'll just go up the back of the calf muscle.

I think it's actually easier with one hand,

So one hand is fine.

I've got one hand on my right knee and I'm just going up the back of my calf muscle and I'm doing the outside edge of the calf muscle because there's a big calf muscle that runs up the outside edge.

Coming up below the knee,

There's a lot of tendons and ligaments in there.

So let's work on that.

I'm taking my right hand now and I'm moving it down the shin bone.

I'm just intending and I'm thinking about all the energy that's running between my hands.

So I'm just bringing my focus to the cells,

The muscles,

The tendons,

The ligaments,

The tissue,

The bone,

The bone marrow,

All different aspects in there.

I'm just letting the intention of the healing work that way.

Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to work with both hands on the right knee.

It's nice and warm.

I'm going to bring my hands up my thigh to the hip,

Just back and forth a couple times.

That's great.

Now I'm going to start at the back of the knee.

I'm going to bring the hands underneath into the area of the hamstring,

So underneath the thigh,

Underneath the upper part of the leg.

Just get that part of your leg with your hands.

Again,

Continue to think about the energy that you're moving and shifting,

Maybe blocked or stagnant sitting there.

Lastly we'll come up with one hand.

I've got my right hand on the outside of my hip and my left hand on the inside of my groin,

Just sort of letting the energy between my hands run through the hip joint.

I really feel that happening now.

Okay,

Now let's just take one moment and place our attention on our legs together as a whole.

Check how your right leg feels as opposed to your left leg right now.

Just see if your toes,

Your feet,

Your lower leg,

Your upper leg,

Your hip feel any different.

Right now I'm noticing quite a big difference between my right leg and my left leg.

So let's get started on the left leg.

So right now I'm just lifting that leg up so I can cross it across my right knee.

And I've got both hands,

One hand on the bottom of my foot,

One hand on the top of my foot.

I'm just working the toes,

Working the top of the foot,

The bottom of the foot.

There are many energy points in the bottom of the foot.

Just giving it a nice little rub across the heel,

The ankle,

Again to the Achilles on this side,

The back of the heel.

Perfect.

Now you can take one hand and start to work on the back of the calf muscle.

I'm working with two hands now because I find it's a really nice way to kind of give the calf a nice push.

Working top to the bottom.

The calf is just moving below my hands.

Now I'm bringing my hands,

Or one of my hands,

Over to the very left outside of the leg because there's a really tough muscle in there.

If you're a massage therapist you'll know what I mean,

Sort of on the outside of the calf muscle is a really good muscle in there to rub.

Now we're going to bring one hand to the front of our shin and just go between the knee and the ankle,

Bringing lots of energy into this area of the body.

And as I said,

You can be doing this intentionally.

You don't actually have to place your hands on your body if that's uncomfortable for you or if it's just something that makes you feel uncomfortable.

That's perfectly fine.

So right now I'm bringing my hands to my knee,

So my left knee.

And I've got the hands on the top of the knee,

Just sort of giving that area a nice massage.

It's nice and warm.

The energy of my hands is very strong right now.

And I'm taking one hand now underneath the knee.

This is a place where there's a lot of tightness.

There's a lot of ligaments and tendons in there.

So I'm just giving that area a really nice massage.

Take your time.

Now we're going from our knee with both hands up the upper thigh muscle,

Right to our hip and back down.

Two or three times just to get the energy into this really big leg muscle.

We work these muscles really,

Really hard.

And it's just great to get the energy to flow in these large muscles.

Okay.

Now we're going to take our focus and our hands to the back of our knee and just rub the hamstrings all the way between the buttock and the back of the knee.

Just two or three times.

Get that energy in there.

If you find a spot that just needs a little more attention,

Feel free to do so.

Hover a little bit longer in one spot.

And I always take one hand and I just focus on the inside of the thigh area.

The groin has a lot of tension in there from day to day living.

Give that a little rub too.

Okay.

So now we're going to bring both of our hands up to our hips.

One hand on the outside of the hip.

I've got my left hand on the outside of my hip and my right hand on the inside of my groin.

I'm getting the energy between my hands and just a very,

Very light massage sort of heat up the hip area.

That's great.

Perfect.

Now just step back,

Move your hands away and just notice your legs.

Just feel them.

See how they feel compared to maybe five or ten minutes ago before we started.

I think you'll notice a bit of a difference.

All right.

So what we're going to do now is we're going to take our hands and we're going to find the low back,

If you can.

If you can't,

You can always work with intention.

So just take your hands,

One on each side behind you and start down low on your buttocks and just move it up through the hip area and into the low back where the kidneys are.

So now I'm working on the side body,

Just the area below the ribs and the hip on the right side.

And then I'm sweeping my hand backwards,

Down behind,

Right to the spine on that side,

Right down to the buttock and back up.

And now I'm doing the same on the left side,

Coming up on the side body,

Right up to where the ribs start or even a little higher.

And the side body there.

And then we're just going to bring our hand back behind and go from the very bottom of our buttock up to and across the kidney on that side,

Right into the middle.

You reach that far.

If not,

Use your other hand to help you out.

It's fine.

Right into the area of the spine.

So now we've got both of our hands and we're sort of working that middle spine area just up as far as we can reach.

Very good.

Excellent.

So we've got our low back,

Our low side body done.

Now we're going to bring our hands around to the front.

And I like to start with my right hand on my left shoulder.

I'm just going to put it on the left shoulder and almost just let it sit there for a second.

Very little movement.

Just let the weight of my hand push the shoulder down.

Perfect.

Now you can sort of give your shoulder a rub.

And what I'm doing is I'm just rubbing down across the area where the collarbone is,

Across where the sort of the peck or the breast is,

Over to about the middle on the left side with my right hand underneath the arm.

So I'm doing the side body now.

And the side body is just feeling a lot warmer,

A lot lighter.

And now I'm bringing my hand right down to my waist area,

Sort of just above the pubic bone in that area.

I'm just rubbing straight upward to my throat.

So kind of down the left side of my body with my right hand,

Rubbing from my shoulder and my throat across my peck,

Right down the rib cage,

Right across the abdomen,

Right down to the pubic area.

And anywhere you need to stop in between there is perfectly fine.

Give a little bit of tension to something that seems like it needs a little bit more work.

We all know where the tension is in our own bodies,

So that's how we're going to work this.

You do what you need to do.

So I'm feeling like my left side is just about done.

So now I'm going to take my left hand and I'm going to bring my left hand up to the top,

Putting it on my right shoulder,

And I'm just going to let it sit there for a second.

Let the heat from my hands,

Maybe a bit of a squeeze,

Work through the shoulder.

Just a wonderful thing to feel,

All that heat sitting on top of your shoulder.

You can sweep it over the side of your shoulder if you like.

And now we're just going to work our hand across the throat area,

The lower throat area,

Down to where our collarbone sits.

Maybe sweep our hand underneath our armpit,

Just bring in some of those energy points.

We've got a big spleen point there under the armpits on both sides.

Just keep rubbing.

Got some points right in the center,

So right at the center of your sternum.

You can always just,

You don't have to rub vigorously.

You're already with the amount of heat you're generating.

You're already stimulating the thalamus and the thyroid.

Just take your hand,

Move it down as you work lower,

Work the side body under the arm,

And then work the front of the body from the pec right down to the lower abdomen into the groin area and the pubic bone area.

You can just take your hand from there and just do some nice massaging sweeps up and down,

Circling as you need.

Just feel the energy coming in,

Feeling all the kinks leave,

And if there's a kink or a little restriction someplace,

Just spend a little bit more time.

You may just want to place your hand over it.

It may take a little bit more rubbing.

It's all up to you.

You'll see how long it takes.

So I'm feeling that I'm pretty much done on the right side of my body now.

So I'm going to take my hands.

I'm going to place them on both sides of my neck.

So right hand on right side,

Left hand on left side,

And just put them almost like a bit of a loose collar around your neck.

You can feel it.

You can touch the palms in the front.

Probably the fingers don't quite reach at the back,

But just rub around your neck.

There's so many very intricate energy systems,

Energy lines that run through the back of our neck.

Right now I'm just pulling from the back to the front with each hand in sort of an opposite motion.

Pulling forward,

Pulling forward.

Just feel the heat in the back of my neck and the side of my neck.

Then I'm just going to take my hands.

I'm going to take them on my lower jaw.

I'm going to push them upward,

Upward,

Upward to the top of my head.

When my hands meet on the top of my head,

I'm just going to give the top of my head a wonderful little massage right from the forehead,

Just directly over the ears,

Across the crown,

And down.

Again we'll start at the front,

Just above the eyes.

I'm going to move over the crown,

Just above the ears,

And down the back of the neck.

We're getting all this area,

And we can move our fingers,

We can put our fingertips down,

We can put our palms or our hands flat,

Move your hair in any way you need to move your hair just to get that whole forehead area right across the temples,

Right above the ears.

Perfect.

That's great.

Now I'm just taking off my glasses so I can work across my temples a little bit easier.

Let's work across your temples now.

So across your temples,

Pull your palms down across your jaw,

Pull your fingers down across your eyes,

Across your nose,

The bridge of your nose,

Down across your cheeks,

Further down on your jaw,

Right down to your chin,

Under your chin,

Onto the neck.

You can even pull your hands down now starting from above your ears,

Straight down,

Down the side of your neck.

Take a little extra time to spend anywhere you think you've got tension,

Any kind of energy that still maybe needs to move out,

Top of your head,

Back of your head and neck,

Where it rains down meets the spine.

Give it a little rub in there at the very back of your head.

Make sure you've got the jaws,

The tight ones,

So I often just give it a good little workout with the fingertips.

That's perfect.

I'm starting to feel really good here.

The eyes are great,

The jaw is good.

So the only thing we haven't done yet is the arms.

So we're going to do this,

The opposite arm.

So I'm going to take my right hand,

I'm going to bring it to my left shoulder,

And from there I'm just going to place my left palm or wrist on my left knee.

I'm going to use my right arm to massage and sweep downward on my arm.

So I can sort of sweep the side of the arm,

The front of the arm,

The inside of the arm.

I'm just sweeping downward towards my wrist.

What I'm doing when I get to my wrist is I'm kind of flicking my hand.

So what I'm doing is I'm flicking off the energy.

We don't want anything that's just straight energy that's built up in our arm,

Flicking it off.

And now I'm working a little harder at my wrist,

Giving my wrist a little massage,

The inside palm of my hand,

Giving the base of my fingers a massage,

The base of my thumb a massage,

In between the thumb and the first finger,

Some really good acupuncture points there.

And I'm just pulling on my fingers now,

One at a time.

I'm on my first finger and then I'm on my second finger now,

Just giving it a nice pull,

A nice massage.

And the same with my third finger and my fourth finger.

I'm just going to shake my wrist out a little bit,

My whole arm,

And shake the whole arm out.

Perfect.

Careful.

Okay.

So we're going to put our right arm straight with our right wrist laying on our right knee,

I guess,

Or our body somewhere that makes it almost come straight out from our shoulder.

And we're going to work with our left hand.

We're going to put that on our shoulder and we're going to just give ourselves a.

.

.

I'm just feeling the need to give myself a nice little squeeze on the right shoulder again.

And I'm just going to take my hand and rub it across my arm and off.

So I'm working downward towards the wrist from the shoulder.

I'm just sweeping the hand across the top of the arm,

The side of the arm,

The inside of the arm,

Straight down from the armpit,

Across the back of the elbow.

Just do this as many times as you think you need to.

It's a great little exercise to pull energy and sweep energy.

And again,

I'm sort of taking my right hand and as I gather up the energy with my left hand,

I'm just flicking it off.

So let's take it away and flick it off.

Now you can bring your focus to your wrist.

So now you're massaging your right wrist with your left hand.

I'm now working into the palm of my hand,

Working with some fingers on the back of my hand and I have my thumb in the palm of my hand.

And I'm using the thumb to work at the base of the fingers now,

Coming across the second and the first finger,

Third and fourth finger.

Now I'm just going to do the same at the base of the thumb,

Give it a really good workout.

And then just pull the energy ever so slowly as you massage the thumb.

Just pull it off and give it a little flick.

Just pull the energy off and give it a little flick.

And do the same thing for the first finger.

Give it a little squeeze,

Give it a little massage and then just pull the energy right off the end of the finger,

Flick it off.

The same with the second finger,

Nice little massage,

Give it a squeeze,

Then just pull the energy off.

Third finger,

Nice little massage.

Starting at the base and working to the top.

There we go.

Now we're going to do the same thing with the fourth finger.

Beautiful,

Wonderful.

I'm just going to shake my arms out.

Again,

Give my shoulders a shake,

My neck,

Maybe my head,

Letting my head sort of roll around,

Moving the whole upper part of my body.

And I'm just going to settle in and take a few deep breaths.

A few nice deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Just feel your body,

Feel if you don't notice a difference between when you started and right now when we're finishing.

See if you don't notice a difference in your hips,

Your legs,

Your knees,

Your feet and toes.

See if you don't notice a difference up your spine,

Through your side body,

Through your chest and abdomen,

Your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your face,

Your arms,

Your fingers and toes,

Front of your face,

Your jaw.

Now is the time to let it all go,

Completely relax.

If there's something left and you just need to give it a little pinch or a little squeeze,

Go ahead and do so.

Perfect.

You can do this for yourself,

You can do it for a friend or a partner.

It's very enjoyable,

It's very fun to do.

And I do it at least once a week.

But what I also do is I have a shorter version and I do it through intention.

So it's very possible,

Although not quite as enjoyable and maybe not as thorough like we've done today.

But you can certainly take your energy through intention and just follow it through the body.

There's no right way or wrong way to do it,

Which makes it perfect.

And the intention behind pulling the energy and cleaning the energy is super powerful.
