When life feels overwhelming we can drift into a space of fear and scarcity. Sometimes frozen in our tracks, it's often hard to see the positive, to feel good in our skin and to remember we are worthy of good things. Today’s practice is about reclaiming who we are. Through breath, meditation and self-nurturing we will clear the decks. Carving out space to praise ourselves and opening up a pathway to receive.

There's no denying it.

We are living in challenging times.

And no matter what your life experience up to this point has been,

No matter what has shaped you,

No matter where your triggers lie when staring down a wall of something that may feel insurmountable,

You have to remember that even in the face of darkness and a myriad of challenges,

That you are worthy of good things.

You deserve calm and limitless bounty and moments of joy even in chaos.

So as a practice,

I think it's incredibly valuable to spend just a few minutes a day fleshing out and cultivating this gentle but very powerful reminder to engage in self-care and to nurture an empowering mindset that allows you to receive and makes way for the good stuff.

So let's gently close our eyes,

Soften your shoulders,

Soften any tightness in your belly,

The space between your brows,

Your jaw,

Your knees,

And any place you might feel any tension.

Rooting down into your sits bones,

Drink in a long,

Deep,

Luxurious breath.

Exhaling any stress or any residual tension in the body.

And as you get into the rhythm of this breath,

Feel it getting deeper and more expansive.

You don't need to make this happen.

It will naturally and organically find its perfect depth.

Feel your heart rate slow.

Feel your nerves disentangle.

Feel yourself change.

Breath,

Breath,

Releasing all tension.

Now I want to give you a visualization to play with,

And this is just another added layer.

Become aware that this breath that is rolling in and out of your body is taking the form of a brilliant,

Golden,

Healing light.

Envision it circulating through all your energy channels.

And notice if simply adding this visualization shifts something for you.

Now let's explore what beliefs about yourself are tied into what you're experiencing personally in this moment.

Is it a lack of worthiness?

Is it that you don't feel you can hang in there?

Are you frozen?

Are you unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel?

Does it make you want to run away?

That's okay.

It's normal to feel these feelings when we're in the swirl of something that feels bigger than ourselves.

We're all familiar with what that is,

And what we're doing here together is trying to find a way to move through these sensations that are tied to a physical memory and triggered by something current in your life.

And with daily practice,

Transmute these feelings into something else.

I want you to go through all of these thoughts,

Feelings,

And impressions that you may be carrying.

Things that shut you down and fire you up.

Inhale.

Allow this golden light to soften and heal them.

And on the exhale,

Allow them to be scooped up and carried away.

Keep going.

Address every single one.

Sending them into the ether with each exhale.

Imagine them leaving your physical energy membrane.

What does that feel like?

Bathe in the comfort and clarity of your whole being being filled with light.

Now that we've gotten clear,

I want to pivot to what you're calling in.

And we're gonna do this in the form of a mantra.

You can say this to yourself,

But because I believe in the power in words and how they land,

I highly encourage you to speak them into being.

This doesn't have to be in full voice.

You can whisper it.

Just as long as these words in the form of intention leave your body.

So I will lead by speaking first,

And then you follow by filling the space with your voice.

I am whole.

I am here.

I am worthy.

I am strong.

I am brave.

I am so capable.

It's okay for me to speak my truth,

Because my words have power.

It's okay to ask for help when I need it.

I can be loving even when faced with dark energy,

Because I know that eventually the light will win.

I know this in my bones.

I trust in it.

It's okay for me to rest when I need to.

I don't need to do everything.

What's important is that I do my best.

I am deserving of love.

I am deserving of laughter.

I am deserving of peace and calm.

I am deserving of plenty.

I now want you to list ten things you love about yourself,

Starting with I am.

Go.

Because of these amazing attributes I possess,

I know I am doing the right things.

I know I am headed in the right direction.

I know that good things are headed my way,

Because I am worthy of good things.

I am worthy of good things.

I am worthy of good things.

Self-praise in the form of mantra is so important.

When words drop from our lips,

They can change our state of being in an instant.

I have a praise list that I carry with me that I can turn to at any time to shift my mindset and how I feel.

I try to practice this daily as a self-caring ritual that I've really come to love.

If you feel called to,

Make one of your own,

Adding to it over time,

And experiment with setting aside a few minutes a day to simply praise yourself,

To remind yourself that no matter what is going on in your world or the general collective,

That you are so gifted,

Capable,

And so very worthy of good things.

Thank you so much for tuning in with me.

Have a beautiful day.
