In this meditation,
We're going to practice the art of letting go and finding a peacefulness that's inside when we do let go.
So finding yourself a comfortable seat,
Finding a posture in which you can be relaxed yet alert.
Allowing yourself to close your eyes.
Start by connecting with the sensations of breathing.
You might take a few deep and slow breaths to start.
And attuning to this sense of relaxation when you exhale.
You can bring your breath back to a normal,
Natural rhythm.
You might choose to use the breath as your anchor of attention or sounds or feeling.
We're going to be simple and simply just beam through this meditation.
Finding and letting go in the present.
Letting go of what happened earlier today.
Letting go of planning,
Ruminating,
Or any agenda.
Being present.
As you breathe,
There is an easing in the body.
Notice the softening of your body coming to rest.
Letting go of any tension in the body,
Any sense of urgency or uneasiness.
Just letting it go.
As you let go deeper and deeper,
Notice that there's this peacefulness and freedom in the center of your being.
There's this peacefulness that's serene and tranquil.
There is a place inside that feels free and peaceful in the ground of your being.
Surrendering to the present moment.
Being aware of your body.
Letting your mind become increasingly quiet and still.
Realizing a flow of sensations,
Sounds,
And experiences that keep changing.
They're changing rapidly moment to moment.
Trying to hold on to or push away.
And allowing everything by continually letting go.
Perhaps having a sense of enjoyment with the letting go.
Letting go of any particular desires or cravings or wants.
Letting go of any insecurities.
Staying present.
Letting go of any internal dialogue or any contraction,
Pressure.
Letting go more and more.
And abiding in this vast peacefulness.
This awareness that's boundless and undisturbed.
Abiding here in this space.
Here in this peaceful presence.
What's here now in the wake of letting go?
