Will I ever see the complete truth of who I am?
You notice how you said who I am?
And I said,
What am I?
Who is the story?
In the story of who.
Will never be real.
Will never be the truth.
The mind tells you who.
What you are is outside of the mind.
Who is a narrative?
It's the imagination of a someone not really there.
And so if we're looking for who,
We'll never see the truth of what we are.
You'll just find stories.
To see the complete truth.
Of what you are.
It's an interesting way of saying it.
At least from me yet.
I don't like the.
.
.
Formulation.
Of the question.
Not that it's wrong,
But these words are silly.
Will I ever see the complete truth of what I am?
In an immediate way.
I can just say no.
But also you're not here to see the complete truth of what you are.
You're here to see what you see.
It's like there isn't a goal of seeing the complete truth.
The goal is to see what you see.
And the question is,
How open are you to see more deeply?
And that depth is infinite in nature.
It's never going to finish in this lifetime.
Which just brings you back to now.
Just brings you back to the life you're living,
Where you are right now,
And that's enough.
This is what you got to work with.
The complete truth.
Almost implies that there's a finish line that we get to and there isn't that.
The depth of this is just too vast.
Because here's what I recognize.
To the degree that I see a deeper truth to what I am.
Is the degree to which It allows for more love to be experienced.
And whether that is.
.
.
5% more love or 50% more love.
Or 2%.
It doesn't really matter.
Because it's all improvement.
And in a way,
That's really what we would like to experience.
Is some degree of improvement.
Some reflection of progress.
That's enough.
It's just like anything that we are working on,
Right?
We're not so obsessed with getting to the end.
We just want feedback.
That we're moving in the right direction,
And that's enough.
And furthermore.
On this,
What we might just say,
Messy human journey.
The mind has its idea of progress.
In the heart.
Has a completely different flavor of progress.
Maybe I should say the mind slash ego.
Has its idea of progress.
And your soul and spirit.
Have a completely different orientation of what progress is.
Like the mind slash ego's idea of progress is.
I collect more worldly treasures.
And the heart and soul's idea of progress.
Is that I can see with more loving eyes.
And I'm way less concerned about worldly things.
Which means I can be more present and love people as they are.
And there's a conflict here too.
I see it in myself,
Right?
Ego mind battle that wants things to be a certain way in my own way.
Personal life.
And my image of the future.
But then when I get honest about what I really want or even why I want all of those things.
It's because I want to be at peace right now.
And then the more that I see what I really am,
Which is not all of those worldly treasures.
I see how whole and complete I am right now,
And that it's all just okay.
Which brings me back to being present and just doing the best that I can today.
Which has a magnificent way of taking care of tomorrow.
If I take care of today.
And sometimes,
You know,
I just get way overwhelmed by.
What seems to be this human experience.
It seems like there's 10,
000 things to do.
And I'm struggling to do one thing.
And somehow I'm still here.
It amazes me that I'm.
.
.
Still alive and my bills as of to date are paid.
It really blows my mind.
And in a way,
It shows me just how much I'm not doing this thing called life.
It's happening through me.
Rather than me,
This character called Tiger,
Is making things happen.
There's clearly something else going on.
Which invites me to trust that deeper thing rather than trusting who I think I am.
Which another way of saying is putting my faith in God.
Rather than some imaginary separate sense of self-importance.
