The law of Mind-Action states: Thoughts Create Experiences; that we have within us the ability to create our experience, to put things forward into motion, and to put them into action. They come from our thinking rightly and our original thought. As humans, we have original thinking, so if that's the case – if that is truly our reality, that we have thid ability to co-create our reality – to me, that is the Law of Attraction in action. A key is to be in action.

The author of The Science of Getting Rich.

Yesterday in Patricia's sermon,

She talked about the mold,

The mold that we are as adults,

As we grow in life.

What have we been molded into and what are the molds that we have that construct our thinking or our thoughts?

And so in terms of money,

In terms of getting rich,

In terms of Conscious Cash,

What is the mold you have developed around money?

What are the walls that are up and where did these conversations come from?

You know,

We have a way of thinking that has been molded through the years spent either listening to others or how we view the world,

Our experiences,

For example.

And the challenge really I have found at this stage of my life is to always break down those molds and see where did they come from?

What are they?

How have I developed them?

And are they good molds or are they molds that I could maybe break away from and develop more openness and a greater expansion of my thinking,

A greater expansion of what's possible?

And in that,

One of the things that we talked about yesterday was the law of mind action.

And it is one of the five principles of unity,

Which is thoughts create experiences.

And so the law of mind action is like the focal point of unity teachings that we have within us the ability to create our experience and to put things forward in motion,

To put them in action.

And they come from our thinking,

Right?

And our original thought.

And as humans,

We have the ability for original thinking.

So if that's the case,

If that is truly reality that we have the ability to construct our thoughts and to attract things into our life.

And if you think about the law of attraction,

That's really what we're talking about.

Then certainly all of us are on the same playing field.

We're all in the same game.

We all have the opportunity to create our lives based on our thinking.

And so what are the molds that you have that have been formed over the years that have you thinking a certain way?

And in this case,

A certain way about money,

A certain way about getting rich is getting rich bad.

Is it bad to think about getting rich?

I don't think so.

I mean,

It takes money to do anything in this world.

We need a flow of cash in order to accomplish great things and to enjoy the great things that one wants to enjoy in this lifetime.

Certainly there are things we can enjoy that don't require money.

I'm not disputing that.

However,

A lot of the family experiences that I know I want to have require money.

And so is getting rich,

Is thinking about getting rich a bad thing?

I don't think so.

I talked about the five principles of unity.

Number three being thoughts create experience.

And that really came to roost as this morning I started to read the book,

The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D.

Waddles.

And I love some of the things I'm just going to read some of the stuff that I took away from this book.

And I give credit fully to Wallace D.

Waddles on these on these principles that I'm going to share.

Also,

I give a great deal of credit to the new thought leaders at the turn of the century in the 1800s and into the 1900s.

That we have the ability to think,

That we have the ability to create our experience,

That we have the ability to create our lives.

So getting back to Wallace D.

Waddles,

Desire is possibility seeking expression.

Desire is possibility seeking expression.

We have a desire for something inside.

We choose,

You know,

We're looking to express it.

And I think,

You know,

When I was thinking about the title,

The Science of Getting Rich,

I wanted to switch that to the art of getting rich.

Because the art is,

Any artist is an expression of their deep desires.

When I think of myself,

When I was creating art,

The creating of this show,

This podcast is an artistic form for me.

And I have this desire to do it.

And so desire is possibility seeking expression.

I love that.

And here's where there's some crossover to some of the teachings of Charles Fillmore that I've read as I walk down the path of ministry with unity.

The visible supply is practically inexhaustible and the invisible supply really is inexhaustible.

And I know that Charles has talked about supply and has talked about substance.

Wallace goes on to say,

Everything you see on earth is made out of one original substance out of which all things proceed.

New forms are being made and all forms are dissolving,

But all are shapes assumed by one thing.

There is no limit to the supply of formless stuff or original substance.

He's talking about the essence of creation itself,

That it's,

We're all of the same.

There's a Rush song.

Of course,

I have to bring Rush into this.

I am made from the dust of the stars and the oceans roll through my veins.

That's what we're talking about here is we're all made of the same stuff.

Everything in the universe comes from the same thing.

So the universe is made out of it and the universe did not use it all up.

It exists in the in between,

Between the crooks and crannies,

The atoms and the particles.

This formless stuff responds to the needs of all humankind.

Wow.

The form,

This formless stuff responds to the needs of all humankind.

This is talking about our thoughts,

Creating our reality,

Our thoughts,

Creating things.

It's our ability as a free thinker to think up new ideas and create new forms out of those ideas.

The art of getting rich is about that ability is about our thinking and moving forward,

Putting our thoughts into action.

There's another old saying I love,

And you've probably heard me say it before that when you pray,

Move your feet.

When you are thinking about doing something or you have this unbelievable desire to express yourself,

You must do it.

Otherwise,

Nothing happens.

I remember my brother,

My oldest brother,

John,

Said to me when I was,

I'm thinking I was 16,

15,

16 years old,

Could have even been younger.

I remember he said to me once,

When you think of something,

You better,

You better get into action because as soon as you put that thought out there,

If it's a new idea and you put it out into the ether,

Somebody else will get that thought.

That's always stayed with me and maybe that's why I'm kind of the way I am now is that is one truth that somebody said to me as a kid that really sunk in.

And I've always remembered that,

That if I've thought of this,

If I don't move on it,

Somebody else will.

And I've seen that in things that I've thought of before.

I can't think of any right now,

But I know I have examples in my life where I've thought,

Oh,

I should do that,

Blah,

Blah,

Blah.

I don't move on it.

And then all of a sudden,

Boom,

There it is.

It's somewhere else.

Somebody else has put it forward.

So this formless stuff responds to the needs of all humankind.

And then Wallace goes on to lay out three principles that will allow us into the science of getting rich,

Or as I like to call it,

The art of getting rich.

And I'll share one of them today.

We assert that there is one original formless stuff or substance from which all things are made.

And this stuff is thinking stuff.

A human is a thinking center capable of original thought.

If a person can communicate their thought to this original thinking substance,

They can cause the creation or formation of the thing they think about.

A person's way of doing things is a direct result of the way they think about doing those things.

This is thinking truth beyond appearances.

Your eyes deceive you.

This is really about even though you can't see it,

Even though it's not a visible reality at this point,

You have to believe you're capable of it.

You have to believe that it is possible.

The law of mind action.

The universe gives back what we expect,

Not what we ask for.

See,

It's not enough to just say,

Oh,

Hey,

I'd like this or I'd like that.

You have to expect that it's going to happen.

You have infinite choice right now to create your own meaning.

So redefine your mold,

Break the mold and get into action and fully expect that the life you want for yourself is attainable.

That it's right there.

If you can think it,

It can happen.

And I would go so far as to say is if you can think it,

It already has happened,

Just expect it to show up and it will be yours.

That is the promise.

That is the way the universe and the substance of stuff works.

We are a thinking universe.

We can put our thoughts into action and have them show up as a reality in our lives.
